good strength but poor technique. when u execute a pull up or chin up its important to have 3 components the
1 the concentric contraction(pulling up)
2 the isometric contraction (pausing at the top)
3 the eccentric contraction (controlled lowering)
Of course the speed at which you execute a pull up depends on what your training for. speed, power, strength etc but you should always have those 3 components as part of the process to any exercise.
