@RoboVic1 Just the music? IMO, MW2's ending was a bit short and abrupt. Black Ops was better, but still not enough for this list in terms of pure entertainment value.

@WhatTheFnu i meant the ending music helped it out.And i personally didnt like the end of blackops because i feel that it ended on a too happy note for an action game but mw2 ended in a badass sort of way with the fighting and the knife throw. it just made you want more and the end conversation with nikolai and price hinted towards the game not being over and thats why i couldnt wait for mw3 to come out so i could see how it ends. but with blackops you have nothing to look foward too cuz you win

Isn't that the point of an ENDing? That it gives you closure instead of giving the developer an easy reason to take 60 more bucks from you? It's simple, man: if you can't make a continuing story off of anything but a cliffhanger, you need better writers.

At least their fans are AWARE they're paying for the same game over and over, but Activision exasperates the situation by refusing to make the stories of the games self-contained. It's not like this was some last minute decision, either; from the moment MW1 became a phenom, they were already panning MW3. Popular game trilogies are unfortunately an industry staple at this point, and I'm personally sick of it. No innovation, no fun. Just greed.

Basically every RPG made SINCE FF7 was better than FF7. Except for FF14. That one blows.

for me, metal gear solid 3 snake eater was the best eding of all time. Everything came together, and wether you are a christian or not, relating the game to the bible the way they they did to give snake his name was genius. And nobody was expecting any part of the ending, it was like an ending from Saw, but more in detail and put together a little cleaner. That ending made you want to play the game over again just for that reason. Perfect ending, if you havn't seen it yet, Play MGS 3. Great game

@shredcare You also felt really uncomfortable seeing those two on the beach talking about "friendship". It came close, but fell behind Persona 3 because it wasn't as epic, which in turn lost to Dokapon simply because it wasn't as entertaining.
