@Tyler590 the pipe its an x-pipe from search in google and the exhaust you can buy any gas scooter high performance air filter. with my scooter (xg 505) i did need a new racing carb for the air filter to fit, and some different screws from any hardware store, then they give with the pipe to fit the motors old exhaust port.

@JBX844187 They dont really make anything specifically for the XGs. Parts are few and far between. The only thing I bought that was "designed" for this scooter was the pipe. It is an X-Pipe brand pipe, but when I got it, it required modifying the bolt hole spacing to fit. You can use really any 2 stroke engine parts but there will be some modifying to make the parts fit. I no longer have this scooter or Id sell ya the parts I used. Your best bet, search Craigslist for a used GoPed. GL!

Does the Boost Bottle really make it idle smoother and give it more speed?

Idle smoother, no. Higher but not smoother. And speed, no. It adds torque. Not much but it is there.

Hey my scooter is completly stock and the top speed is 21 mph the company claims 35 whats wrong?

They are not a trustworthy company. The speeds they give are approximate, and only after many mods have been made. Like mine was. Id recommend you go buy youreself a GSR model GoPed. They have a great reputation, and parts are widely available. Plus, they are the original gas powered standup. Good luck man!

I have this scooter and it does not reach its full speed, What is wrong? i replaced spark plugs and cleaned carburetor, also a blackish green fluid comes out of exhaust after I hit full throttle. Before it used to go about 25-28 now it goes 15-18. When I reach its full speed now (at 18) the engine kind of sputters and you can tell it can reach higher rpms

i think its the centrifugal governor, gonna take it apart when school ends, one more question do you still have a choke? because i noticed that u dont have the stock intake system

You mean the coil? shouldnt be governed, very few are... I had a choke ya. I dont have this scoot anymore. I used a vstack with the choke. never needed it though. that scoot always started up no prob.

yes I tuned my carb a little, it was after that, when I noticed the reduced top speed btw When I hit full throttle I can ease down a significant amount before the actual rpms lower, so what Im saying is that I reach its highest rpm range at lower than full throttle

So 3/4 throttle will give me the same speed as full throttle, I have no idea whats wrong and you seem to be the only one with knowledge for this partic scooter

ok so you took off all that plastic crap, how easy was that? and where did u buy the air intake filter? I made my own exhaust for mine out of an old glass cleaning spray bottle and a plumbing flex line

As simple as using scissors. I used some tin shears (after removing all screws and removing plastic) and cut, only leaving enough for the flywheels breeze to still be directed at the head fins. If that makes sense. Intake? ADA. its just a standard v-stack/filter combo.

Its just an expansion chamber. X-Pipe is just the brand name. I could explain it, but I would need more than this little comment section to do it. So in a very short version, it helps improve torque and horse power.

dude cutting your engine plastics dose not make it cool faster it needs the plastics for the fly wheel fins to suck up air and flow through the cooling fins

not always. depends on how you cut it.the piece i left on is the important part. It directs the air flow over the head. the rest of the plastic is mostly to protect against dents/dings, and for looks.

Ya i noticed a hue improvement. theres lots of other better pipes out there for that price though man. I suggest you go to daves discount motors (ddm). And ya I got a few now. gcb w/ a blata engine, bigfoot, goquad w/ polini/bzm 50cc, and a gobike w/ gp460.

nope, rear clutch popped once but that can happen with any scooter. no specific scooter is really crap. its whatever you prefer. kind of like chevy vs ford? mine lasted me a long time. just sold it actually.

ohhh. stock, not fast at all. it was like 21mph lol. the e-start on mine sux tho. so bewar of that. i rewired it and still something else went wrong, im in the process of removing it completely now. be less weight ne way.

drill the intake 3/8". but you can order the intakes predrilled if you dont have the tools.

because i painted it, ultra flat black, and grip spray on the deck. I cut the plastic in half to cool it better too.

Ya but when you port it wears down the bottom end a lot quicker. Its got enough power now, just gotta put a smaller sprocket on the rear to reduce the torque and get more overall speed. :)

you probably have air getting in around where you drilled it. Or your intake is cracked? How far did you screw in the brass piece? When i put mine on it started right up, but it idled higher.

No, I got mine pre-drilled and the intake looks perfect. I took that intake off and put the stock intake without the boost bottle on and it runs perfect.

weird... i dunno, you might have to mess with the tuning on your carb, write the guys you bought it from, they can probably help you the most. I just drilled my own so i knew it was good.
