There's nothing morally wrong about speculation inherently. It's just that you're likely to lose money by speculating. Those people who speculated on property would've lost a lot of money.It's not the tax system that causes people to speculate, it's the expectation that the price would rise forever. It's really tough to manage when the bubble starts going. especially when the banks disregard any kind of risk management and lend like drunken sailors.
NOW is the opportunity for the younger generation that must survive the taxing society to become elected and to make these tax changes. It's way overdue for this current generation to make way for fresh common sense changes in how governments tax citizens. Out of control taxes destroy families and destroy prosperity.
I watch this video and wonder why nobody notices how much money is already collected and how much of it goes into a black hole of unnecessary expenses. This I describe IS happening this very minute, under our noses and there is no justice to solve the thievery of the modern businessman especially the real estate people, fueled by endless amounts of investor money.
Of course, in the eyes of many I'm speculating and making things up....the governments are in it too, they will not interfere.

Corruption in local and national government is the core of Spain's problems - how they began, anyway. The best course of action now for Spain is to leave the eurozone, default on the debt and start again from scratch, but with complete transparency in politics and financial dealings. No more corruption! No more crooks in government or the banking system.
NO! You have got to get it in your head right! STOP the Government intervention! Get the government out of the way of always trying to DO SOMETHING. The root cause of all the problems is government involvement. And who are these so called government experts? Nincompoops, incompetents, fools.
The root cause for the 1929 and 2008 crashes was LAND. Debt after debt was poured into land because the increased values are tax free. The land market got bigger than the rest of the economy and collapsed taking all with it. Surplus earnings get poured into land - any economist will tell you that
Solution? Introduce Land Valuation Tax, not new. It stops over speculation in LAND. It can eliminate income tax & pay for needed public infrastructure. Look at Harrisburg, Singapore and Hong Kong
