i am surprised they were anybody alive in 1922 to act in this film so many men were killed and maimed in ww1, the prevailing moodof horror so shortly after the war probably inspired this film
@Eerik2 "boring bullshit" now, but in 1922... grow up, we wouldn't watch most of our favourite horros if this movie didn't come out :D Yes it is classic and he is a legend vampire
I think the tinted print is a little easier on the eyes. I also need to point out that I've never heard a decent soundtrack for this film. The only thing that does it justice is the Soundtrack of Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Oh oh! Somebody's been tricked, somebody's subtle coffin carrying days are over. Good film, wich I could have seen it in it's context, it's hard to take it seriously now.
Believe it or not, I actually feel sorry for Nosferatu when he realizes it's morning after the rooster crows. And, the sad music that plays shortly after up until about 3:10 adds to the dramatic ending.

You should see "All Quiet on the Western Front." The film was made in 1930 about the war. And amazing piece for its time.

I've just notice something funny.
I've seen it for years, but now I'm sure it's not my imagination.
When the shadow of Graff Orlock's arm reaching for the bedroom doorknob, it greatly resembles a penile image.
