  • OH MY I love that second knit increase!! THANK YOU!!! Its sooo much nicer than the one I was shown!! YAY

  • why why do they have to wear so much makeup

  • make up face in the commercial.....lol

  • thanks - you're a legend

  • Thanks for the video but I also found it hard to follow what you are doing with your hands moving all the time...and you speak too fast too!

  • Thanks for the vid! I've had friends sitting next to me showing me how to do increases, but they always seemed... weird. These two make sense to me, and now I can get back to following my first pattern.

  • excellent demonstration thankyou

  • thank you.

  • Too bouncy. When you're doing a video like this, you can't talk with your hands. lol

  • Thank you!

  • That's the method I was looking for too, but boy it was hard to watch with all the motion....

  • Thank you! I'm learning to knit and this was the method I was looking for! Thank you for sharing!!

  • I had no problem seeing what you were doing in your video. Very helpful. Your descriptions were very good as well. Thank you for mentioning that the first stitch would be visible and the second stitch would be invisible.

  • I had no problems with your hands moving and thought it was very easy to see. You descriptions were very good and your video was very helpful. Thank you for mentioning that the 1 stitch was visible ans the other invisible.

  • thanks so much i couldn't figure out what i'd been doing wrong lol

  • i like how you told that there r more theres more than one way to increase because your way didnt work as good so i tried another way and it worked perfect. So that you for telling everybody that theres more than one way to increase!

  • Thank you for showing the different ways to increase I am a struggling knitter and it was very clear as I tackle this doggie sweater!

  • Thank you. This really helped me a lot. Yes, your hands moved quite a bit when you were talking, BUT you did a good job of slowing down to show the actual stitching which was what I needed to see. Most helpful. You did better than I could have at teaching knitting on youtube. :)

  • Thanks for your help, Kelsey! Don't listen to the negative comments, I generally find that people who can't do something themselves are the first to criticize others. Most knitters I come in contact with are kind and generous with their help ... apparently all the rude ones just leave comments on YouTube!

  • too much movement and camera work was too far away to see accurately

  • awful video, can't see what's she's doing with all the moving around

    crap crap crap

  • dont bug her ... she's got social skills (hand movement)

  • my pattern says 'M1 by picking up horizontal loop lying before next stitch and working into the back of it' - would that be the second increase she showed?

  • omgggggggggggggggggggg her hands are pissing me ooff

    !

  • Great clip thanks. I'm just starting out and have picked up some good pointers at ebeginnersknitting (.) com

  • what a fag i wonder if the drapes match the carpet

  • Not a bad video but..... she should repeat the techniques a couple of times. Not all of us get it in one view of it. Instead she talks way too much and takes way too much time explaining something that could have been shown two or three times.

  • Very helpful in refreshing my memory as to how to increase. Now I can get back to my project. Thank you!

  • Stop moving your hands the whole time you are explaining, its hard to watch

  • She moves her hands around too much. She talks with her hands, which you just can't do if the viewer is trying to watch the tiny details of making stitches! The best knitting videos go extremely slowly--with steady hands.

  • Thanks for posting this. I don't care that she moves her hands. It is a little distracting, but oh well, now I know how to increase!

  • not very helpful, speaks too fast/much, bad camera angle, shaky hands.

  • I have a question. Whats the difrence between inc1, make one and yarn over? Im doing a pattern and in one row it says that i should increase at the end of every row. but then on another row it says yarn over. what i dont understand is if they both do the same thing why is it worded difrent? or am i wrong in thinking they are the same?

  • i have a question! can you only do that on a knit row (the second invisable way)? because i knit and purl stockinette whatever stitch and im sort of confused

  • @bbewitt usually most increasing and decreasing is done on the knit row but I am not definently sure but I usually just do it on the knit rows in stockinette :)

  • Thank you so much good instruction...

  • I thought it was a pretty good instruction...thanks!

  • stop moving your hands!!

  • She sucks doesn't stop moving icant see anything

  • you're moving your hands too much make me dizzy, and you talk much too fast and too much talking anyway ,the worst clip about knitting ever.sorry

  • wow thanks! you explain things very well and i learned this within a minute. very nice job!

  • I think this is a very good video, but you need to talk a little slower. I don't mind the camera isn't in the perfect spot (altough it would be even better if it was over the shoulder), Thank you for the lesson!

  • extremely helpful but the camera angle definately needs to be over ther shoulder and you need to move your hands a little less

apart from that thank you for teaching me how to increase!!!

  • I agree with Sanya131. The camera should be from over her shoulder .And there was too mch hand movement so I had difficulty seeing what she was doing with the needles

  • I just started knitting and I'm trying to make a scarf, but my problem is that I'm accidentally adding extra stitches and I have no idea how I'm doing it! does anybody have a tip for me? Thank you!

  • Depends on the yarn you're using.. I had to finish a blanket my sister in law started. Cast on 180 stitches. When I bound off, it was 295. Count. I know it sounds ridiculous, but count EVERY row!!! And NEVER start with boucle!!!

  • you taught me to purl, and now you've taught me to bar increase. thank you!

  • you move your hands around too much .

  • I like that she's knowledgeable about her craft (I've seen other videos by her) but this vid is not very helpful for me. First the camera view should be from OVER HER SHOULDER. People need to see what the what it would look like if the needles and yarn were in their hands. The camera angle here is terrible. And yes, she needs to stop the excess hand movement and instead do it as if she were going in slow motion. I could not follow what she was doing. Background colors where an interferance

  • Thank you - very, very helpful! what you were doing was very well explained and I could see what was being done.

  • The info is helpful but her hands never stop jumping up and moving while explaining. Redo video with less handmovements.

  • Wow! All that "hand motion" is making me sick! You have some really helpful info--- it's just difficult to SEE

  • thank you I love you!!!!! So simple....

  • Thank you! Very helpful. Just what I needed to see.

  • oOoOo fancy

  • very helpful, thanks!

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • if she would stop moving her hands while she talked it would be easier to follow. terrible.

  • I agree with you, STOP moving your hands. I get sick motion. (well almost)

  • Are you guys crazy? Have you actually seen any of the other knitting vids on offer? This girl moves her hands a lot less than any of the other videos!

  • now i know how to increase rather than making it up lol as i go along ..bren

  • Thank you! This was very helpful and a time-saver.

  • I could see it perfectly fine. Thank you for the video, because usually I use Lion Brand's website on how to do specific stitches, but even with the pictures they post it is hard to understand exactly what you are supposed to do. I've made quite a few mistakes trying to imitate what they try to explain. Your video was much more help.

  • What an excellent and exciting hobby!

  • thiss is very gooding, i will try to and knitting with this

  • Thank you, very easy to understand thanks to you.

  • Please don't bounce your hands as you instruct. It's impossible to see what you're doing.

  • Thanks so much for the tip I have been trying to figure out how to add stitches for a while now. Ok now to taking away and forming ends.

  • realy thankz....very simple and nice

    u make knitting mor nice

  • I agree with the other poster...Please keep your hands still instead of gesturing when you speak. Otherwise your vidoes are very helpful!!

    thanks

  • It really is difficult to see what it is that you're doing because your hands bounce up and down when you speak. It could be a bit more close up, too. thanks.

  • i agree

  • Comment removed

  • Please stop moving your hands when the camera is focusing on the knitting....can't see what we're looking at. Each time you emphasize something vocally, your hands match it...

  • Great video! Thank you for putting this info out there.

  • Thanks so much for the video! I can't follow those stupid diagrams in books!

  • sooo helpful!Thanks@

  • Thank you! This is very helpful to me since I learned how to knit by reading. I never quite understood how to increase. Now I can tackle many other projects. =D

  • Thanks :D
