After lookin around a while I havent found anything thats puts any of those guys on flea's playing field. Prestia and Sakurai are very talented bassists but just because they can play a fast rhythmic progression with tasty fill doesnt put them on fleas pedestal. Jean Baudin however just wishes he was a guitarist, playing an ELEVEN string bass with reverb and extremely low action, playin both rhythm and lead.. sorry Jean but on a bass its one or the other. If he can sing while he plays, fine, that's a nice bonus. but im talking primarily about bass.
