  • Nice video, I liked your nutcracker. It seems to crack them just the right way, without crushing them, may I find out where I can find a similar one? Does it have a brand name on it? I love pecans, more than walnuts I'd say. Thanks.

  • Thank you for the comments. We have calculated that this tree is between 125 and 150 years old. It is far to big to shake, we gather the pecans as they fall. Some years a powerful storm blows through at just the right time and puts much of the crop on the ground for me all at once.

    These nuts are sold locally and on eBay, search fcs1958.

  • Thanks for making this, I enjoyed watching. How old is your tree? Do you have to do something special to get the nuts off it like shake it--or do you just wait for them to fall and collect then..? Thanks in advance.
