  • I would give ANYTHING to play this on my DSi, unfortunately SCDSTwo is unavailable in my country...

  • @NumbedChaos Tried any other flashcarts?

  • Please nintendo part this game to the Eshop some day with translation

  • @janfeyen9 That would be AMAZING!

  • @janfeyen9 This is what I've been wanting Nintendo to do for a long time. If this series is selling so well in the USA, why not translate it and re-release it for the 3DS? That's just my 2 cents.

  • @Pradakirb16

Yep I'm confused I know Nintendo is making a new game for the Wii but nintendo isn't showing any love for some af there previous series like Starfox or the Mother (Earthbound) and those new games that operation rain is trying to release in the U.S. the sad thing is I just moved in the US 2 months ago

  • @janfeyen9 I believe their reason for not releasing Mother in the US is that Earthbound didn't sell well.

  • @WaffleTheQueenz

Well why doesn't Nintnedo just release Earthbound, and Mother on the Wii shop, and see at those sales, if the US, and Europe is good for another Mother game, I mean whne I play Brawl and listen to to the great music for New Pork City, and the awsomeness of the PK moves, makes me want to know who these guys are

  • @Pradakirb16

Nintendo doesn't even have to change the sound affects

  • i dont like balls in my face

  • cooolll (::

  • like if you were pretending to tap your ds as if you were playing this game.

  • What is this game ? It's a mix of Rhythm Heaven and an other game ??

  • OMFG

    I´M HIGH

  • This looks like Warioware on crack. Well... more crack than it was already on.

  • Either it's me or at around 2:42 I see that alien guy with the yellow eyes you see in the credits section of most WarioWare games? If it's not, it looks alot like it.

  • Better than the DS sequel!!

  • I have this game. In my opinion, the BEST game you can get on the GBA. I still have one I got in 2004. Me, mine cost $35. A very good price, considering the amount of games in existence. I highly recommend it.

  • Best rhythm game ever, shows your real rhythm capabilities.

I'm so happy I found it for 15£ on ebay!

  • @Hanagigi what did you think of rhythm heaven.

  • @Simon0 Not as good as the GBA one, in a certain way it lost some of the wackyness but for me the worst thing of rhythm heaven is the way some remixes need to be learned more in the moves than the music.

The gba remixes always gave you the time to realize that the scene was changing but really challenged your rhythm, while the ds remixes tend to trick the player by switching scenes at the last moment.

    So tengoku rules.

  • @Hanagigi you are right some remixes do trick you. but overall i thought the game was superb. i never played the GBA one though. at least most of the levels dont trick you like that. just a few of the remixes do.. and its not that hard to memorise those tricks anyhow.

maybe i should buy the GBA one though, as i loved rhythm heaven (i still have about 4 perfects to get)

  • @Hanagigi one more thing.. has the GBA game been released in the UK?

  • @Simon0 Nope, japan only, I got lucky and found an UK seller.

  • @Hanagigi The reason it usually costs so much is:

    1) It's an obsolete game.

    2) It has to be shipped across the sea, from Japan. (Usually)

  • @Hanagigi Really? Wow.

  • That would have been cool if there was an american / european version of that game like they do with Rhythm Tengoku Gold :/

  • only if they remade this game on the ds as Rhythm Heaven: The Lost Notes

  • @bravebirdie123

They could remake the graphics while they're at it, and Polyrhythm would be PERFECT in 3D. Of course, they could just use the D-pad and A/B buttons to replace the original buttons.

  • @bravebirdie123 they kept karate man though

  • @bravebirdie123 i wish

  • @bravebirdie123 maybe they'll do that on the 3ds

  • This is Rhythm Tengoku,,, a japan-only release on the Gameboy Advanced

  • i got mediocre on this game

  • awwww sweet this sounds awesome!

  • IS THIS REAL GAME?!

  • on the DSi shop, there should be downloadable levels of this

  • Karate mans feet creep me out. <.<

  • @jazzehlove101

*pats*It's ok, they creep me out too...

  • There is a game just like this on the DS/DSi.

    Its called Rythm Heaven.

  • At 2:16 that "Oh yeah" came in at the perfect time!

  • is this on ds if it is i want it

  • Mabye I'll download this for my VBA. Makes a bit of a change from Pokemon Silver and Emerald XP

  • put thumbs up on mine if you agree

  • I never usually import games but this ones amazing. I recomment everyone gets it!

  • it would be cool if it was on ds and same stuff exept eng and it can be yours in 2 ways dsi shop and stores

  • Comment removed

  • i wish this game was on Ds

  • I thnk that the original games in Rhythm Tengoku should be translated to Rhythm Heaven 2.

  • @winxgirlalways

Or even better: Rhythm Heaven Wii (They should make this game playable on the Wii, just with better quality in graphics and music, and a better name.

  • @winxgirlalways There will be a chance that Nintendo will put this in the Nintendo eShop, only for 3DS...

  • Uhhhh...... okay...

  • ok how do i get this game

  • You would need to import a Japanese copy. It wasn't released anywhere else.

  • Did this come out for the DS? Or was it for GBA?

  • gba and only released in japan D:

  • UGH!! Japan always get the better stuff!!!! And always give us their crap!

  • This is quite bizarre.

  • it may be bizarre but its very addicting

  • god I wish I could play this normally instead of on that fucking laggy emulator, I swear it so doesn't work, you just miss half of everything *sigh*

  • And notice how those soldier's helmets appear in Shoot Em' Up 2 in Rhythm Tengoku Gold

  • Does anyone know how difficult it would be to navigate the game for a non-native speaker? I'm in year 3 of japanese class, and would like to play this one but not if the English version would be a lot easier to get through.

  • An english version of this game doesn't exist, unfortunately. But most of the games are self explanatory.

  • Why are the beets getting hair removal, houldnt they be busy getting stomped out of the ground by the beet farmer?

  • Same beets, different game. You're thinking about Rhythm Heaven, the sequel to this game. But that's actually a bit of an easter egg there.

  • rhythm tengoku looks fun. I have Rhythm heaven and obviously the levels look completely different. Looks a little cooler to be honest...might be because i've beaten RH 4x...

  • Comment removed

  • No kidding... Rhythm Tengoku is a game that was not released outside of Japan.. What you know as Rhythm Heaven (for DS) is actually a sequel for this GBA game... FYI, Tengoku = Heaven in Japanese..

  • ? I thought asagohan was breakfast... tengoku does translate loosely to heaven...

  • goku means meal (rice maybe) and ten is morning

  • Where are you getting your info from? Gohan means meal/rice, and ten is a prefix used for things related to heaven (like tenshi is angel, tennyo is a heavenly being, and tengoku is heaven)

  • I love this game!! <3

  • i like remix 8

  • I think rhythm heaven is like the best game

  • Comment removed

  • can i get this on ebay

  • I've played this game on visual boy advance it's easy to pick up Xp

  • is rhythm heaven and rhythm paradise exactly the same game?

  • i think so...

  • yep

  • No they have different music

  • @xamame yes it is.. heaven is for U.S and paradise is for europe

  • @xamame yeah but rhythm paradise is in spanish

  • @xamame Yes.

  • @xamame THERE simaler

  • @MsButters8

They are almost identical(I think in Freeze Frame, if you get it right in Heaven, you get a check mark. In paradise it's a hand symbol) ... and it's they're, not there... also it's similar

  • @xamame yep but i don't know why some people call it that

  • @wallhall12 Because in japan, the word for paradise is the same as the word for heaven. So ti could've just as easily been translated as "Rhythm Paradise".

  • @xamame Yeah. Rhythm Paradise is the English (UK) title.

Rhythm Heaven is the American (NA) title.

    the same lol

  • @xamame Only 1 is Diffrent. In rhythm heaven freeze frame is a Circle. rhythm paradise Freeze Frame its a thumbs up.

  • @AccfEmanuel1

lol it's the same in the Japanese one too (which is the best)

  • @AccfEmanuel1 i think that its also for the gameboy :\

  • @xamame no

  • @xamame yes just differnt names heaven for usa paradise for uk

  • @DrMrProfessorPatrick 1 year old comment,

  • @Mematman15 just making a point jeez.

  • Comment removed

  • @xamame yes, but rhythm heaven is for the US/Canada where as rhythm paradise was for Europe. This game (rhythm tengoku) was only released in Japan for the gameboy advance i think though.

  • @xamame this game Rhythm Tengoku (literally means Rhythm Heaven) was only released in Japan for GBA. Rhythm Heaven that was released in US is Rhythm Tengoku GOLD in Japan. So both aren't the same game.

  • @junhotak But American Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Paradise are the same games. I think that's what he/she meant.

  • me wanna have game!

  • Nintendo should make a translated "New play control - DS" with this game!

  • Yeah, or maybe, "New Touch Control! Play GBA classics on the Nintendo DS!". I really want it, and some of the music is better than the music from Rhythm Paradise. =(

  • this is the original rhythm heaven?

  • That's right. It was only released in Japan.

  • So,

You can't play rythmn tengoku on the DSi?

    There is no GBA slot?

If you have DS games would you have to buy them seperate for the DSi?

Does The DS lite games work for the DSi?

  • all DS type games work on the DSi however not Action replay or R4 (im assuming) and DSi doesn't have a gameboy advance slot so it's only ds games now. the camera and voice modulator makes up for it i guess :)

  • That it should.

But then again we're not allowed to have any of the good music games.

I've been playing it on an emulator for the past 2 days and I like some of the music more than Rhythm heaven,

  • and i ment is this japanese game playable on the american ds to play for a gba?

  • doubt it

  • The DS and GBA both have no regional lockout whatsoever, so any game from any territory is playable on any other territories GBA/DS, you might have a tad bit of trouble with the fact that the menus are in Japanese, but I don't think this games menus are that hard to navigate.

  • DSi has Region Lockout though.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, not to mention its a Gameboy advance game and you can't play it on a DSi.

  • is this game playable on the american DS (i know that this game is on gba but can you still play it on ds like other gba games?)

  • i love this game to hell and i just got the sequel today better than wario ware a bit imo

  • Trust us. Once you start, you won't stop. Ever.

  • This game looks immensely boring. I'm not sure I understand why everyone goes gaga over this thing. Then again, I haven't played it, so I'm assuming something happens to you once you try it yourself.

  • Yeah I know right? Boring as FAAUGHK.

  • It's kinda one of those games that you have to play to like.

If you like music, you'll like this.

  • It's pretty addicting.

Sure, you think it looks stupid.

But, when you actually play it.

Man, will it make you addicted. o_o

  • wow the japanese vers. of this is so much different from the american vers.

it so much different like wow

  • There's no American version.

  • yes there is

    its called

    rhythm heaven

  • Yeah...for the DS.

    This is the GBA version.

  • o srry bout that

    i was always wondering that

anyways it should be for the usa also

  • No, there isn't. Rhythm Heaven is Rhythm Tengoku Gold(Jap version of Rhythm Heaven) which was released on the DS. The original Rhythm Tengoku was released on GBA, Japan ONLY. Though I wish this one would be remade for the DS. That'd be awesome.

  • I don't know how, but I managed to get Excellent on all the remixes on my first or second try.

  • i download this game and i suck at it, it fucking hard

  • Duh, emulators are considerably slower than the actual GBA hardware, making a rythm game like this nearly impossible.

  • Cant wait for the DS version!!

  • Me neither its gonna be called rythm heaven though i learnd it from gameinformer... ima nerd XD

  • Is this GBA game?

    (Please don't reply with pressure)

  • Yes, This is a GBA Game, exclusive to Japan. However, it can be downloaded as a ROM.

  • Or IMPORTED!!! Because pirating is bad.

  • How is importing illegal? I've never heard about anything like that. Plus, it's really the same as flying over there yourself, buying it, and bringing it back with you.

  • I don't know WHY importing is illegal, but import sites have been shut down in the past because of it.

Although I can't actually find anything on the laws so I might have read a bad source.

  • Importing isn't illegal, but companies make a fuss about it.

  • Look up "parallel importation" for why some companies feel it is illegal. Regardless, it is not illegal for the consumer.

  • Thanks for the Clarifacation.

  • shut up

  • EEEET'SSSS EEELL GUUUAAAAPOOOO!!! xD

  • cool,nize

  • Good rythm!!!

  • excellent eh, i call it electric, just because the symbols look a bit like it, and the practise mode "blonde" mode for the same reason (i know no japanese :P)

  • I love the song and the game, and I can't wait for the ds version!!!

  • BAM.

    BAM-BAM. (OH YEAH!)

  • hey guys where I can buy this game????

  • japan

  • Play-Asia

  • A rom for the GBA Emulator XD

  • You made more mistakes here than on your other videos, yet you still got an excellent. I guess the first remix really is more generous.

I've found that this is a good game to play on the Game Boy Player in a room where other people who haven't played it are likely to see. It would seem completely random to somebody who hasn't played the game.

  • how are you syncing the emulator? :)

or are you pressing the button 1/4 of a beat faster to compensate. I want to capture some of these on emulator too :D

  • Hmm, I never really noticed any sync problems. It's possible that I was just unconsciously hitting the button a bit early. If it matters, I was using a gamepad instead of a keyboard.
