@janfeyen9 This is what I've been wanting Nintendo to do for a long time. If this series is selling so well in the USA, why not translate it and re-release it for the 3DS? That's just my 2 cents.
Yep I'm confused I know Nintendo is making a new game for the Wii but nintendo isn't showing any love for some af there previous series like Starfox or the Mother (Earthbound) and those new games that operation rain is trying to release in the U.S. the sad thing is I just moved in the US 2 months ago
Well why doesn't Nintnedo just release Earthbound, and Mother on the Wii shop, and see at those sales, if the US, and Europe is good for another Mother game, I mean whne I play Brawl and listen to to the great music for New Pork City, and the awsomeness of the PK moves, makes me want to know who these guys are
Either it's me or at around 2:42 I see that alien guy with the yellow eyes you see in the credits section of most WarioWare games? If it's not, it looks alot like it.
I have this game. In my opinion, the BEST game you can get on the GBA. I still have one I got in 2004. Me, mine cost $35. A very good price, considering the amount of games in existence. I highly recommend it.
@Simon0 Not as good as the GBA one, in a certain way it lost some of the wackyness but for me the worst thing of rhythm heaven is the way some remixes need to be learned more in the moves than the music.
The gba remixes always gave you the time to realize that the scene was changing but really challenged your rhythm, while the ds remixes tend to trick the player by switching scenes at the last moment.
@Hanagigi you are right some remixes do trick you. but overall i thought the game was superb. i never played the GBA one though. at least most of the levels dont trick you like that. just a few of the remixes do.. and its not that hard to memorise those tricks anyhow.
maybe i should buy the GBA one though, as i loved rhythm heaven (i still have about 4 perfects to get)
They could remake the graphics while they're at it, and Polyrhythm would be PERFECT in 3D. Of course, they could just use the D-pad and A/B buttons to replace the original buttons.
Does anyone know how difficult it would be to navigate the game for a non-native speaker? I'm in year 3 of japanese class, and would like to play this one but not if the English version would be a lot easier to get through.
rhythm tengoku looks fun. I have Rhythm heaven and obviously the levels look completely different. Looks a little cooler to be honest...might be because i've beaten RH 4x...
No kidding... Rhythm Tengoku is a game that was not released outside of Japan.. What you know as Rhythm Heaven (for DS) is actually a sequel for this GBA game... FYI, Tengoku = Heaven in Japanese..
Where are you getting your info from? Gohan means meal/rice, and ten is a prefix used for things related to heaven (like tenshi is angel, tennyo is a heavenly being, and tengoku is heaven)
They are almost identical(I think in Freeze Frame, if you get it right in Heaven, you get a check mark. In paradise it's a hand symbol) ... and it's they're, not there... also it's similar
@wallhall12 Because in japan, the word for paradise is the same as the word for heaven. So ti could've just as easily been translated as "Rhythm Paradise".
@xamame yes, but rhythm heaven is for the US/Canada where as rhythm paradise was for Europe. This game (rhythm tengoku) was only released in Japan for the gameboy advance i think though.
@xamame this game Rhythm Tengoku (literally means Rhythm Heaven) was only released in Japan for GBA. Rhythm Heaven that was released in US is Rhythm Tengoku GOLD in Japan. So both aren't the same game.
Yeah, or maybe, "New Touch Control! Play GBA classics on the Nintendo DS!". I really want it, and some of the music is better than the music from Rhythm Paradise. =(
all DS type games work on the DSi however not Action replay or R4 (im assuming) and DSi doesn't have a gameboy advance slot so it's only ds games now. the camera and voice modulator makes up for it i guess :)
The DS and GBA both have no regional lockout whatsoever, so any game from any territory is playable on any other territories GBA/DS, you might have a tad bit of trouble with the fact that the menus are in Japanese, but I don't think this games menus are that hard to navigate.
It also has no GBA slot, so you couldn't play this game on it anyway. Apparently the lockout on the DSi is for software specifically created for the Nintendo DSi, think DSiWare and that sort of thing, older titles shouldn't be affected.
This game looks immensely boring. I'm not sure I understand why everyone goes gaga over this thing. Then again, I haven't played it, so I'm assuming something happens to you once you try it yourself.
No, there isn't. Rhythm Heaven is Rhythm Tengoku Gold(Jap version of Rhythm Heaven) which was released on the DS. The original Rhythm Tengoku was released on GBA, Japan ONLY. Though I wish this one would be remade for the DS. That'd be awesome.
How is importing illegal? I've never heard about anything like that. Plus, it's really the same as flying over there yourself, buying it, and bringing it back with you.
excellent eh, i call it electric, just because the symbols look a bit like it, and the practise mode "blonde" mode for the same reason (i know no japanese :P)
You made more mistakes here than on your other videos, yet you still got an excellent. I guess the first remix really is more generous.
I've found that this is a good game to play on the Game Boy Player in a room where other people who haven't played it are likely to see. It would seem completely random to somebody who hasn't played the game.
Hmm, I never really noticed any sync problems. It's possible that I was just unconsciously hitting the button a bit early. If it matters, I was using a gamepad instead of a keyboard.
