I bought some on Bricklink, and I also got some from a friend who was given around 6000 of them... under the condition that we do something interesting for the "LEGO community". The Great Ball Contraption (GBC) was the result.
You can buy them at Bricklink, but most of these we got as leftovers from a BrickFest event (sort of a LEGO fan convention), with the understanding that we would help the community with them. So we came up with the GBC (Great Ball Contraption)
Thank you. That was the idea, both to keep things from jamming, as well as to keep things interesting. This module had to handle up to 60 balls at one time, so reliability was a real issue.

What did the balls fall into? I couldn't see it.

The balls fall out of this module into the next module in line. See some of my other GBC videos for examples.

Thanks! It's even better when you see 20 or 30 or more of these type of modules, lined up passing balls from one to another, each in a unique way.
