Who puts windows in a server room, especially one that is below ground level? That's just asking for something like this to happen.

A lot of old data centers were in the basement of these buildings; why? simple, old buildings had no space for them in reasonable places, they had large file rooms in the basement that they could clear out.

1. Why didnt they board that window shut? Then the water wouldnt have splased through vents on back of the racks

2. I certainly hope they had a sump pump previously installed in that room

3. why have a box that is marked as hazardus voltage under rack no.2 wich dosnt seem to be water proof under the floor below street level.

Conclusion, They were asking for it and hope they lost servers as a result.
