As a little kid, I absolutely loved the continuity of how, while running up the hill, you could see Bowser's Castle with the sword waaaaay off in the distance, as if to remind you of your goal, and how far away you still were.
@NYRavage Yeah, I always loved how far you go in that game. I don't know why, but I love adventure games where you're constantly traveling, never poking around one area too long. I also loved how freaky and bizarre the game was (well, for a 6/7 year old). Carroboscis and reachers always made me shiver, and whats-his-face the dog guy with four eyes made me yelp. Yes sir, there will never be game like this again. There will always be good games, but never one quite like this.
