  • If you're at 145whp I'm guessing this is the 190 version? 293kph is far too high, also I'd recommend changing the cold air intake as K&N might sound good but it actually usually reduces the power

  • Did you ever dyno the car again?>

  • Nope, I didn't.

  • oh ok...

  • We recorded that speed while that 8 is on a dyno. Of course we have to be realistic, 293kph on a stock 8 and on road are near impossible if you factor in the resistance and fiction on the road. But on dyno rollers, there are no resistance to be worried 'bout, and that 8 is not running on W rate wheels. The owner of this 8 takes the top speed reading with a HUGE pinch of salt.

  • how much whp...

  • Sad to say it's only 145hp on wheels and 144 torque. To be honest, nutting was done under hood except this 8 is using an open pod air intake by K&N. This 8 is de-catted and using a straight through pipe. Top speed is 293km/h.

  • R U sure about the top speed? 293kph is far too high thats 182 mph. the top speed of these cars is 150mph/242 kph. your tyres would blow out at 180mph because they r rated a W which is safe up to 150mph

  • the W tires wont blow, just lose tread faster the normal. and u can reach 182 on a dyno. i did it with my turbo 8. it was 52F out side of the shop( i think my car likes tht temp)
