you want to learn the right way? Get a little hourly job at a dealership as a porter or lube tech and bust your ass and move up. Thats what I did 7rs ago to become a mechanic. good way of removing clear layer and applying so you get less air debris onto your tint is to spray the first half from side to middle. leaving clear layer attached. spray the second half from side to middle. leaving clear layer attached. swipe bubbles out using hand. roll tint up from side. when applying,reverse it and unroll the tint onto the window starting from the opposite side you rolled. they use this techn. in competitions to be cleaner and fast. request a video from me and i'll show you

Actually, the heat shrinking process for the back window is the hardest part of tinting a car. If you can do this, the rest is relatively easy.

This is true. Cutting the tint to size and getting it to conform to the windows shape is the hardest part. One note though is you should soap the window first before cutting and heat shrinking it.

Use a soap that is 99% pure and rub it onto a rag, then apply it like you would car wax. After you finish tinting, you can wash the vehicle to get off the soap.

You soap it first to assist the tint to stick to the window, this makes it not move around while trimming. Ivory soap is good.
