Huh. I can make awesome looking high-poly characers, but I can't animate for squat lol. Nice job. And I know the feeling of having a slow computer too. =P
I made this intro. Way worse than yours. I Cant put it in a movie. i dont know how i can turn it into a clip. can you teach me. Your movie would make a great commercial if it had meaning in it
Honestly what I like the best out of everything is your metallic looking sink. I have been experimenting with blender, and I have noticed how hard it is to use textures to make something realistic, but that sink, you did a really good job there on creating a metallic surface! Other than that, you did a decent job, and this being posted three years ago, i am sure that you already know how you can do better. Everyone whines about the frame rate though, like it has anything to do with the render
That was a cool video, but 1) Were the ice cubes jumping just trying to get into that glass and the first one missed? 2) What happened to that first one...
1. Your reading my comment 2. Now your saying/thinking thats a stupid fact. 4. You didnt notice that i skipped 3. 5. Your checking it now. 6. Your smiling. 7. Your still reading my comment. 8. You know all you have read is true. 10. You didn't notice that i skipped 9. 11. Your checking it now. 12. You didn't notice there are only 10 facts Copy and paste to 1 video, tomorrow will be your best day ever! no matter what!
dude youre right the only thing is that you ned the skills and hints like baking ,unse UV Mapping that help alot it can make for mw1 frap cost 00.00.8 seconds and of course unit some g ram ... intel core is a good one to use for this so next movie use uvmapping speed a lot but only if you reduce the render... when you wil search for it you will figur it out
To be honest, that video is not that big achievement using blender. It has possibilities for beter than disney-quality modeling and animation. But keep on practising, you're on good start. :)
And for those who cant stand criticizing: I can already tell I couldnt do that much beter my self, mostly just worse. But I have seen what other people have done with blender and I comment based on that.
your actully the first guy to say what i think of my own video. I know its not great but for the time i've spent on it its not to bad. but thank you for your critic
Good modeling but when you say you wrote the story--I don't get the story could you explain it? Thanks. By the way, how long did it take? I like the bounce of the cubes.
took 150 hrs with 24 render hrs on own computer. the 150 hrs is total as in dueing the modling, animation, render, and learning everything I needed to in order to do this.
It seems like an invisible man(skip model and saving time I guess)came back home under hot weather. He fetched from the fridge for some ice cubes for a glass of iced water. However, I don't get the idea of why the first cube was thrown to the sink.
The only true hard thing about this was facing a time issue when I knew nothing about this stuff at the start. It took 126 hrs to build and animate with just under 24 hours to render on the nonsuper computer that I have.
@killafoo9 if you think you can make good movies, maybe you can ask your parents (if you're a child) and later you can become really good at it and have a sucessful future and be a famous computer artist. (or stick to that slow computer and be poor for the rest of your life, you choose)
1 more thing im trying to make a movie but i cant fit it all into 1 render video im lip syncing so i have to time right. how do i delete all the other renders i have i need to know thanks
To tell ya the truth i don't fully remember however you probably could open up the ipo curves and select the parts you want to delete and then delete them. I know in maya you just select the key frames then right click and delete. Hope this helps a little or if somebody could help him farther. Goodluck.
Still don't feel like i know that much about it seeing how to me my quality sucks. started learning when i learned we had to do a final project which was about end of Aug. till first monday after thxgiving break. which was like Nov 30 or something. so not very long.
It took about 100 hrs to make 24 was rendering due to the sinks render lv of 6. Then I also spent about 50 hrs learning blender before and during the making of the movie.
wtf

cool movie in blender, but you need to try more hard.
And using blender is not a easy stuff. So doing this much is a great achievement.
Yet there is a long way to your success

ok - a three year old could probably do better (no offence, but you should have saved a "movie" for when you were better at blender)

Hey kneesalesman, let's see you do better. I don't see any 3D stuff on your channel.

Yep, it was definetely not bad. 3d animation is extremely hard and time consuming thing to do, even with a software like blender.

Why are the camera movements so jumpy?
alexander256 3 years ago
I think he turned down the frame rate so it wouldn't take so long to render.
forthfriend 3 years ago
actully its because i was short on time and wasn't able to put a lot of time 2 it so i let blender auto move it in between the two points.

I understand most of modelling, but I am nowhere near animation or some of the stuff.
