My dog is sooo much faster than any of those dogs, and when we train her, she always beats their time, but once the race comes shes just to nervous to do anything. but I still love going, its a lot of fun!

The finish line needs to be at least 5 metres from the owners. The dogs start slowing down before the get to the finish line.

That was lame. My chihuahua could beat all of them. She's a genetic freak with abnormally long legs and built like a greyhound. She has to sit on her wrists because her legs are too long. She's also got a turbo-mode that outran the neighbor's doberman.

I seriously doubt a chihuahua could out run a Dobermann. I have 2 and they can almost keep up with my friends italian greyhound. Post a video of it.

It is unfortunate that the national champ isn't even a Chihuahua. Looks more terrier than Chi.

Petco doesn't require the dogs be purebred...several of the dogs in this years final were mixes. Chi-pug, a couple Chi-poms, some unknown Chi mix, and a Chi-poodle.

Maddy, the 2007 winner, is a Chi-poodle. Absolutely no terrier in that dog.

dude my fucking chihuahuahua would beat the ass out of all those chihuauhuas he's a tank and in the hamster racing at petco my little sisters teddy hamster would win andi never buy pets at petco they suck there almost always sick and i live in germany so they don't have any petco's they only have little pets stores thats where i bought my 2 parakeets and im planing to get a amazon or cockatiel in germany
