I know you are in the habit of memorizing all pokémon that are created, but, just out of curiosity: how long does it take you for, say, a 100 of them?

I dunno. I think it took a week or two to learn the 4th gen ones. And that was with Japanese names, which is quite a bit harder because those mean nothing to me.

But I spent my time walking to and from school trying to remember them all, and I had a list in my pocket to check if I was right.

But anyway... as I think I've explained before, I am able to remember them thanks to constant repetition (just repeat them over and over until it sticks) and remembering the relations between them. I gave the Feebas example earlier, then there's also things like...

Electrike and Manectric are electric types, so are Plusle and Minun. Those two are a pair, so are Volbeat and Illumise. Grass is similar to bug, next is Roselia.

I'm not a pro or anything, but I'm decent) - Plok (again, sort of) - Ristar Games I'm really bad at: - Super Mario Bros 1 - Tetris - Halo (granted, I only played it twice, but I found it very hard to control) - Metal Gear Solid (I gave up on the very first area) - Any Mega Man game aside from the 6 on NES - Most Sonic games

wow...im not calling you a geek for knowing this, but HOW in the hell did you memorize all the pokemon in order lol...i remember i could do that with the first pokemon only from red and blue version...like over 10 years ago lol

It basically took a lot of persistence. I learned the original 151 when that game came out just due to the way I learned about Pokemon in the first place (long story), and then which each new gen came out, I added them to the end of the list. It helps to just remember how things are related. IE, Baltoy and Claydol are ancient, then come the fossils, and then comes Feebas, which is an old-looking fish. Remembering all the cries also helps, if you can recall what the cries sound like in order.
