  • selling mine as it hisses.

  • @YouMyWifeNowDave I fixed it. It no longer hisses. I'm not selling it anymore. Just a warning though, you CANNOT turn off the direct monitoring - a strange decision on Yamaha's part, so be wary of that. Not good if you want to monitor effects and you can hear both software monitoring and raw monitoring.

  • Forgot to mention Balanced Outputs which is the only reason i'm buying it

  • what lavatris1 wrote is not right: the line 2 can be used either in mono (left or rignht) with the jack inputs, or in stéréo. The direct monitoring is mixed with the treated sound on the phones output, but it is possible to have only the treated sound (of the computer) by pluging the headphone (or a power amp) in one of the others outputs.

  • and that interface is a good one

  • dis mafucka, dont know what he talkin bout..he readn shit

  • its cheap but its horrible. it sounds great but theres no mute on any of the channels, direct monitoring mixes the clean sound with the sound coming out of the computer, and line 2 doesnt have a mono option!!!

  • @fmcampers you can off the volume of the mic or turn off the phantom power when you use A6 for listening music in that way you cant hear anything from mic , but since the A6 is designed for recording i think there's nothing wrong with it.

  • g8 product, I am using audiogram 6, it comes with a cubase and recording quality is superb..... very happy with my audiogram. For MIDI recording, I use yamaha UX16

  • This product is good as! I recommend this to everyone! I've used this to record all my rap vocals, for 2 years, and it works like a charm still. I am running this hardware product on my PC Windows 7 laptop. The music software I use is Sonar 8.5 Producer Edition. However, this audio interface does not have any midi inputs, which is really upsetting.

But recording my electric piano, my mates guitar by guitar leads, with this audio interface is great and gets awesome quality. Check out my music.

  • Will it work if i use Fl 9 help please

  • Cubase AI is NOT friendly with MAC. It does not support Snow Leopard which is what over half of the MAC population is running. Their support says that they are working on it, but we are just a couple of months away from Lion!

  • horrible horrible product. no way to disable direct monitoring!!!! WTF yamaha! This makes this thing useless to me!

  • Will this take a keyboard or digital drumset well?

  • i use this its amazing !!

  • Dont buy it you want to amplify a dynamic mic for pure accoustic record, result is really bad. But with electric or EA guitar, it's worth the money !

  • i just bought it and now i want to use cubase but i don't find a licens key! please help me!

  • Will this be compatible with Logic?

  • I Just Bought 1 Online. I Do More Hip Hop Music Than Anything Else. With Cubase AI, The The Software That Comes Bundled With It, Can U Load A Beat (MP3 Or Wav) In2 It N Record Over It?

  • @D85610 I Should Proll Add That I Didnt Get It In The Mail Yet LoL So Im Just Wondering..

  • there is no on off button and when plugged in to usb the power light stays lit ....is it safe to leave this plugged in and on the whole time ?? my computer is always on and when in sleep mode the power is still on the audiogram

  • Do you know how to disable direct monitoring with it? I can hear my dry guitar signal at the same time as the affected signal coming out of my DAW (Ableton) and it's pretty annoying. I've not found any way to disable this at all.

  • This product is worth buying. I run Sonar 8.5 with the Yamaha Audiogram 3.

  • Excellent Product!!!!

  • I'm using it just fine--with Audacity. Haven't used cubase at all yet.

  • do you NEED cubase 4 to set up the box? cuz cubase looks more like a editing software rather than the setup program.. besides i think i read somewhere that you dont need to install anything to use the box..

  • @DaFleegsta No, you don't really need to use Cubase, if you want, go for it. You can use different DAW's (except for Pro Tools) with this product. You need to install the manufacture drivers of this product from the Yamaha's site to get some great connectivity going between your computer and the product itself.

  • Yeah - tip -> if using vista make SURE you set your sound settings in the control dialopgue to 44100 mhz under advanced tab - also DOWNLOAD the latest YAMAHA drivers - not with the cd

Works well - am using my harp into my amp (with effects) into the yamaha - also using my nord electro and layering with this.

    sweet.
