  • Now I'm scared to touch my ankle

  • I heard a pop in mine but it doesnt even hurt that much.I can also walk but it hurts a little bit. Is it painful when it happens or am I an alien, haha ! Is it possible to hear the pop and have it just strained ? My body heals super fast too because i detox every day and my cells are super healthy so I heal real fast.

  • i gt my pain when i walk and it hurts my heel and on the part wher the achilles ends and iv had if for 3 weeks now. its starin to piss me off

  • hopefully it's not this and just normal pain but i've been feeling pain in my achilles tendon for a long while now and it especially hurts during the morning that it makes it difficult to walk

  • @aygachu see a doc

  • @aygachu same here.. for about a month i had pain there and every time i woke up or got up from a sitting position, it would hurt.. alot. It subdued for a bit but has come back..

  • Mine has been killing me .. I got Achilles Tendonitis like 3 yrs ago. I'm a runner but haven't been running in like half a year. It hurts worse with no weight or stress on it. I went to 3 doctors and none of them know what's up .. Grrr ,, :/.. It really hurts i dont know what to do :(

  • @Makeupfanatic4life I had an x-ray but it it did't show anything .. but i know for a fact something is up .. :/

  • @Makeupfanatic4life may need an MRI

    see a foot specialist

  • @nerfdj99 see a doc

    it could be a tear

  • oh fuck...

after having seen this i feel like never doing sports again :O

  • @bitcheskillar rupture of the tendon is rare

  • @bitcheskillar I Have A Football Game Saturday And My Recovery Is Not Looking Good Right Now. I Just Wanna Make Solid Tackles And Scored 8 Touchdowns. Smh

  • my hubby juss ruptured his achillies tendon,he says he heard the pop also..and is scared of having the surgury,if he does were screwed financially..ugh

  • @APRILBALDERAS surgery is better ,the infection rate is high

treatment with a cast or a brace will increase the chance of rec uuuance of the tear

  • @APRILBALDERAS I know its over a month ago but hopefully he went the surgery. I just literally rupture mine playing flag football. I had the option of not doing surgery but negatives were a longer healing process and unsure of how it will heal. I went with the surgery and was in pain for about a day and had a little fever( all normal i guess). Feeling better and doc said I could possibly be off crutches after 2 weeks. Hoepfully everything went well with your hubby

  • @Jamerican44 great comment

  • @APRILBALDERAS i ruptured mine playing basketball about 4 months ago....if the tear is really bad then surgery is almost a must ....i had surgery 10 days after the accident...tip...my insurance was very limited so it got used up on the surgery...physical therapy is a total rip off! they were gonna charge close to $400 an hour! i read somewhere, this guys bill got up to $40,000 in PT bills! ...i just did it myself going to the gym and swimming/running in the pool..if you have any questions reply

  • man i might have to get that shit done to my foot an im not a fan of sugery

  • @dezal317 sorry to hear that

  • I suffered and injury to the Achilles Tendon almost 8 weeks ago now. I felt the "pop" that people hear. X-Rays showed that it didnt tear all the way through, but I feel as if the tendon on that ankle is larger than the other. The tendon is still too weak to walk off my toes. I squeeze my calf every once in a while and ankle doesnt move much or doesnt look like it does at all. What do I do now?

  • @BigGuySmash see a doc

    and get an MRI

  • @nabilebraheim i have the same problem but im 14 please help me :(

  • @rockman378 therapy ,therapy

  • Thanks a ton!

  • @RyanBostonRedsox9 thanks

  • If someone is dealing with achilles tendonitis, how long should they expect to rest before continuing physical activity pain free?

  • @heyyy19 as much time that is needed to relief the pain

  • A beautiful explanation but how can I distinguish between Achilles tendonitis and achilles tendon strain or partial tear

  • @n77ool very hard to tell the difference for sure

may need MRI if the condition is not resolving

  • Thanks Nabil for response

  • for the surgery of achilles tendon, which approach is better ,lateral or medial approach

  • @chinafox1 medial approach is better

  • what is the nutrient supply to the achilles tendon

  • @chinafox1 there is an area in the acilles tendon that has apoor blood supply

this area is likely to tear

  • @chinafox1 there is an area with a poor blood supply
