I am going to start tallying the disapproval-votes also. As we go into the 2nd Round this will make a big difference to people's decision process.
I'm going to propose a maximum of 40 disapproval-votes being allowed, until a channel must be relegated into the "Hall of Shame". I hope it never happens, because they goes against the purpose of this.
This could very well be a great idea. Although the "purpose of this" may be gone against in some way, I do think a large "no" vote tally should be noted and Hall of Shame could be good in the sense that anyone that ends up relegated to that might take note and re-think the impact they are making on the community at large. Either way tallying the NO votes is still a good idea I think, at least for statistical interest.

My vote, nomination, endorsement and support goes to VenetianPrincess because she seems to be the class act here. I liked most of the channels (some just have no videos and thus found no reason to vote for them) but I found VenetianPrincess to be the most creative and most artistic in her videos. I might have had a comment but I don't think I voted. If so, let me know, but I didn't make up my mind until today. In fact, I hadn't even looked until today. I also subscribed to most of the nominations. A couple or few seem to have no videos.
I also responded elsewhere but I found where I nominated Javalu for a public service award for activism but he was not listed in the sidebar of nominees, so I chose VenetianPrincess there. But now I see this is an up or down vote for any or all of the channels listed. Do I need to amend my vote, or do you think it's sufficient? I know there's a couple I would NOT vote for because they have no videos listed at this time.
I feel the UtubiaPresident should be the first inductee into the Hall of Fame. This person has been involved with the Utubia community since I became a member and placing video's on here. He seems to be the one who has been the most involved and the most dedicated to the community. My vote is for him, the Gold Standard of commitment. Thank you.
HoldinCoffee was one of the 8 original candidates for President. He has been involved as much as any of the other founders. I wonder if he will run for the office.

You can upload it anytime before the game, but you must keep it private until the starting date of the game.
The only possible problem is that it will not appear fresh then, in your subscribers lists that week. There are other ways to bring it to people's attention though.
Its not that the President can't be inducted. I just don't think its appropriate. But we will let the People of Utubia decide.
There is a growing list of famous channels who are going to be in the successive Rounds of voting. The 2nd round is starting to shape up. Looks like it will include WhattheBuckshow and happyslip among others.

Another reason why the first Utubia President could not be inducted first (or at all) is because it would inevitably be misconstrued as being a "rigged" contraption.
The UtubiaPresident is the Creator of this YT institution. That should suffice.
If I had to choose from that list, only Renetto would stand out. I have talked to before TheHill88, zenarcher, and Lisa Nova's Brother Danny Diamond, who deserve a shot at this title as well. Lisa Nova does not belong on this list and neither does Blunty3000. Neither one has done anythin gfor the YouTube community.
However two people who need to be mentioned in future nominations is ChangeDaChannel and Methadone4life. These people do alot of work for the community.
BTW, those are some strong disapproval-votes. It is possible that will sway some of the other voters.
Any of the channels which do not make it into the Pantheon will be included in the next 2 rounds until they get in. If they do not... they go to the infamous "hall of shame".
I did pick those: based upon channel name recognition, total subscribers and viewings. I feel strongly that they are 20 of the "unquestionable" Top 50 famous channels on youtube.
With the exception of possibly superlunary. That channel was thrown in there as the "joker card" She has high subscriber numbers and had been featured. She is also no longer with YOUTUBE.
As many or as few as you want. Numerically that means - 0 or 20 of them. You can also lodge disapproval votes. This does not count against the channel's approval count, BUT it will influence how other people vote.
ZITZON your question about the induction process has already been calculated. Your idea to do it by majority vote would still not insure that anyone gets approved.

On the other hand, we have not really been in business of trashing people because they have done nothing at all for the community... we just decide to IGNORE them.
So the Hall of Shame is a footnote at most.

I liked most of the channels (some just have no videos and thus found no reason to vote for them) but I found VenetianPrincess to be the most creative and most artistic in her videos. I also responded elsewhere but I found where I nominated Javalu for a public service award for activism but he was not listed in the sidebar of nominees, so I chose VenetianPrincess there. But now I see this is an up or down vote for any or all of the channels listed. Do I need to amend my vote, or do you think it's sufficient? I know there's a couple I would NOT vote for because they have no videos listed at this time.

I feel the UtubiaPresident should be the first inductee into the Hall of Fame. This person has been involved with the Utubia community since I became a member and placing video's on here. He seems to be the one who has been the most involved and the most dedicated to the community. My vote is for him, the Gold Standard of commitment. Thank you.

Well, I feel "Holdincoffee" has always been closely involved within the community, he might do a good job as a Presidential candidate for 2008.

HoldinCoffee was one of the 8 original candidates for President. He has been involved as much as any of the other founders. I wonder if he will run for the office.
The only one I know of so far - scottishcream147. He made a comment on my page to that effect. We can expect some interesting videos from him.

You can be pre-registered for any competition of your choosing. Which one did you want?
You can upload it anytime before the game, but you must keep it private until the starting date of the game.
The only possible problem is that it will not appear fresh then, in your subscribers lists that week. There are other ways to bring it to people's attention though.

Its not that the President can't be inducted. I just don't think its appropriate. But we will let the People of Utubia decide.
There is a growing list of famous channels who are going to be in the successive Rounds of voting. The 2nd round is starting to shape up. Looks like it will include WhattheBuckshow and happyslip among others.

Another reason why the first Utubia President could not be inducted first (or at all) is because it would inevitably be misconstrued as being a "rigged" contraption.
The UtubiaPresident is the Creator of this YT institution. That should suffice.

If I had to choose from that list, only Renetto would stand out. I have talked to before TheHill88, zenarcher, and Lisa Nova's Brother Danny Diamond, who deserve a shot at this title as well. Lisa Nova does not belong on this list and neither does Blunty3000. Neither one has done anythin gfor the YouTube community.
However two people who need to be mentioned in future nominations is ChangeDaChannel and Methadone4life. These people do alot of work for the community.

BTW, those are some strong disapproval-votes. It is possible that will sway some of the other voters.
Any of the channels which do not make it into the Pantheon will be included in the next 2 rounds until they get in. If they do not... they go to the infamous "hall of shame".

I did pick those: based upon channel name recognition, total subscribers and viewings. I feel strongly that they are 20 of the "unquestionable" Top 50 famous channels on youtube.
With the exception of possibly superlunary. That channel was thrown in there as the "joker card" She has high subscriber numbers and had been featured. She is also no longer with YOUTUBE.

As many or as few as you want. Numerically that means - 0 or 20 of them. You can also lodge disapproval votes. This does not count against the channel's approval count, BUT it will influence how other people vote.

I wish the process called for majority votes rather than fixed number of 30 !!! What happens if no nominees registers maximum of 30?

ZITZON your question about the induction process has already been calculated. Your idea to do it by majority vote would still not insure that anyone gets approved.
30 approval votes out of about 50 votes, does amount to a "majority"
A majority method is usually applied when pitting one contestant against another contestant.

But now that I think about your criticism more, I may have to overhaul the system for the next round of inductions.
It may become a P.C. and open voting. Where a ratio of majority votes will be counted... a minimum of 2/3 from both groups.

These are the measures I am taking for the 1st round. For the 2nd round, the Pantheon committee will be more firm. We will have a roll call before I launch the next video.
Several people who were not in the committe, who voted will be instated temporarily. Incl: Maxwellsdemon, SupremeCosmicforce or easternphilosophy, slowhand1954, zitzon, and Illuminatta
We need to hear from them to reiterate their approvals. In a comment - the complete list of who you approve. Thank you.

This brings the total of participants on the Committee to about 27. We need about 23 more to bring the complete number to 50. So I am going to send out messages directly to various people.

I nominate fellow Utubian javalu882005 and his bros for a public service award in the nonprofit and activism category for purchasing more than $320 in groceries and donating them to the food bank. They deserve this award for helping to make Utubian Utopia here on earth feeding the hungry, and inspiring goodness in other people to do the same or something similar.
