Of course he only played him one time in a TV movie from 73. But it is a beautiful little movie for a TV movie and Palance is great at least in my opinion. Christopher Lee was the best by far and 1 of the greatest actors of all time. But the full name and coolest outfit along with hairstyle for Dracula was done by Richard Roxburgh. Along with best accent and second best preformance for Dracula. Perfect Name For Dracula, used by Richard Roxburgh was Count Vladislaus Dracula, and is a name i think we should all use when saying Dracula's full name. Plus the Outfut he used In Vanhelsing's Dracula Was Awesome.

Christopher lee Had the most talent total And was tall To express dracula's appearance and he had the most experience and he was indeed the best dracula ever. But Richard Roxburgh is a very close second having less experience but alot of talent to make up for that. He did the best Appearance for dracula besides being tall, and having the best hairstyle ever for dracula too. best draculas were Bela Lugosi who was 6'1, Christopher lee who was between 6'4 and 6'5, Frank Langella who was around 6'2 or 6'3, Gary Oldman who was 5'9 Gerard Butler who was 6'1/2 Richard Roxburgh who was 5'11. As you can see Most all Draculas were tall but the best would be christopher lee cause he was always coming across tall. But the second best would be richard roxburgh, and the tied for 3rd would be Gerard butler and of course Frank Langella

I see what you mean, I'll check it out sometime. I think Lee and Lugosi probably suffered - not in all - their movies - like that, Lugosi doing comedy versions and Lee in increasingly ridiculous movies with less and less dialogue (like the Satanic Rites of Dracula - egad! what a plot)

You left out one very important actor...you have to dig back a little farther.....Nosferatu......192­8...Max Schrek played a very horrific Dracula.

Otherwise....Gary Oldman was the most "real" characterization of Vlad Dracula. But my hear still holds a special place for Christopher Lee. (First Dracula film I saw Dracula Has Risen from the Grave)

Well for me Oldman's Dracula has a bit too much of Ann Rice thrown into his performance and Coppola tried to make him sympathetic as opposed to Stoker's count who is a predator and has no qualms about killing or viciously attacking and dominating Mina for instance.

My favitore Dracula is Gary Oldman, I have yet to see Christpher Lee and the who's that guy that played Dracula in the 30's? That guy. Rudolf Martin, was not as good, he did not grab me as being Dracula, but as Vlad Tepes he did an exellent job. I am picky when it comes to Dracula, if he doesn't have that strong prensence while being sexy at the same time. It doesn't grab me.
