well. i really know the rules of yugioh card game but i just watched this becouse i want to post it in my new facebook page all about yugioh ( new style )
@getrich2112 If you haven't summoned a monster yet, then you can tribute summon, but you can't normal summon a monster and then tribute summon an other one because a tribute summon is also a normal summon.
@SkidMcmarxx Yes you can summon a monster and activate a spell card in main phase 1. Actually you can activate as many spell cards in main phase 1 if the conditions let you.
@22222alfredo , you can Normal Summon/ Set 1 monster per turn. You can play as many Spell Cards you want per turn(1 time offcourse) And you can Set as many Trap/Spell cards you want per turn(Max. of 5 offcourse). You can Special Summon as many times per turn, if the cards can be Special Summoned. Same as Exceed/Fusion/Synchro and Rituals.
thanx! I have another question now: what about the effects of monsters like medusa worm and guardian sphinx? Is the effect activated when they are destroyed and they are face down? And can you flip and return them in face down position each turn, that would make them quit un defeatable.?
@nielsje1212 The effect of Medusa Worm and Guardian Sphinx is only activated when they are flipped face-up and are still on the field. And no you can't flip them back into face-down, you can only do that with cards like Book of Moon.
if i tribute summon a monster in main phase 1, can i attack with that monster in de battle phase of the same turn? Or i have to wait till the next turn?
@surfwizgg You can only Normal Summon once per turn. Or a card says you can Normal Summon again like the Brain Research Lab card for Psychic type monsters.
how many cards can you have in your deck? 52 right or something? Or did it got lower or something. I remember it was 52 like 5 years ago can't remember.
Can someone please tell me how many cards of each card can you have in your deck if it isnt limited, Example, 2 Magic Cyclinders, is limited, but like, what if i wanted to have 4+ Volcanic Rockets, can someone please tell me quickly? thank you
@WolfgangPain You can have a maximum of 3 cards of each except for limited(1 time each), semi-limited (2 times each), Forbidden(you can't use these in a advanced format deck).
Can you tribute monsters from your hand or do they need to be summoned on the field first?
