The difference between the two is usually that street tyres are more made with durability and affordability in mind, however race tyres are usually full slicks, which means there's no tread nothing just tyre, on a dry track its super sticky, which is what you want when you're racing. Ok, it sounds amazing, it drives pretty good, but it's still NOTHING compared to Mine's R34! That one did 59 seconds around the same track using street tires! And it "only" had 600 hp using conventional cams! It was street legal, too! Still HKS has done a very good job on this one...

@Ellisinho9 the mine's is a fantastic track car. But thats where the z-tune works its magic. It can do a blistering lap at any circuit, then cruise home in comfort. My friend has a r32 with the mine's entry level coilovers, they perform great on the track, but living with it day to day can be hard. The engine is so responsive partially due to the good tune and also from a very short final drive. The mine's car will top out at 270km/h by rev limit, whereas the z-tune will go past 320km/h.

It's actually not a wastegate. HKS didn't integrate a blow-off valve into this setup. The sound of that chattering is caused by the throttle plate closing(when the throttle plate is shut by you taking your foot off of the throttle pedal) and blocking compressed air, which is pushed back into the compressor blades of the turbocharger, since there is no blow-off valve, this is the easiest area that the compressed air finds to escape from. Thus causing the "skipping" sound.

i dont know if you guys know anything about forced induction but its not the bov that makes those sounds. it dosnt matter what type of bov the car is running. if the fluttering sound is made by the car it means that the bov isnt bypassing the air quick enough which in return means it goes back through the turbo. this is always the case and happens alot in highly powered cars.
