  • i remember this song when it hit...lol! I was still in high school

  • he's got that buju raspyness....big ups, chameleon. and for those argueing where he's from or him sounding better singing this and that....he is chameleone...he can bring it however u like to listen . whoteva colour you got or prefer he can change to that and entertain u. he got all that, and that's talent.

  • @TUTHMOSIS12 : hear, hear. Why wont pple just enjoy the music and quit fighting? Damn.

  • who cares where he's from, enjoy the music and stop making fools of your self

  • Uganda and Kenya have the same official language which is kiswahili. Kiswahili is spoken by the most of the east african countries, or i might be wrong cus am not belong to them

  • @metoo8able Kenya and Tanzania have the same official language..swahili. Ugandas official language is Luganda. Only a few Ugandans can speak or even understand swahili.

  • @magic7sky Uganda's official lingua is English n not Luganda, though it is widely spoken

  • @magic7sky FYI Luganda may be widely spoken in UG but its not the official language... its widely spoken not only because the are Baganda the biggest ethnic group in Uganda but also because the Capital City, Kampala is found inn the Buganda region so since in developing Africa capital cities are the places with the opportunities everyone tries to learn the city language... otherwise English (sadly) remains the official lge.. I wish Swahili would take over though!!!

  • this song calms and relaxes me

i have no choice but to love it

  • i know he is half kenya and half ugandan that is why his kiswahili is so good

  • He is not half Kenyan and half Uganda, rather a Ugandan who spent many years in Kenya....may be that makes him half.

We're all proud of his music though.

  • this song was the best songs of 2003 i think in rwanda chameleon rwanda love your songs

  • Love it, love it and loving it some more. This brings back a mountain of sunny memories when i visited motherland, Uganda 2006.Miss home real bad. Chameleon star!

  • I heard he's half Sudanese and half Ugandian...Is that true?

Ragardless...He is incredible, he's music is beautiful and meaninful...

I was introduced to his music last summer and i cant get enough of it...

  • @RANDABALANDA This guy is a ugandan, but he lived in many African countries.

He mostly lived in Kenya, and there he welcomed as a Brother.

    He's a great artist though.

  • oh no hes not half sudanese big lie!!

  • you know i am from sierra leone, i dont understand anything this guy is saying in his songs, but i love all his music. wheather you agree or not this young man has talent. one thing we all can agree is that african music is the best.

  • kai na lia o

  • @morlai2006 I agree wit u 200%. Im also from sierra leone. I just pray that he steer away from all the rubbish outside his music before he kills himself or flame out his career.

Jose, respect yourself and life then use your massive talent tokeep takeing uganda music to heigher heights.

  • @morlai2006

u speak the real truth bout east african music

  • @morlai2006, no i didn't know you from sierra leone but any way is good that you fall inlove with his music because he is great artist. i have been listening to his music for real long time.

  • @morlai2006 : he's speaking swahili right? and he's talking about kids are crying back home but I am not sure what the message is all about.

  • @morlai2006

He is singing about a woman who dumped him for a rich guy who drives a BMW (BMA)

She left him with young kids at home.

He is pleading with her with to come back home. She tell him she won’ get back with him because he can’t provide her with Money or BMWS.

He warns her that the rich guy will dump her one day.

  • @morlai2006 This song is about Chameleone who was married to a woman named Jockie (idk how to spell it) & then out of nowhere she leaves him & hes left with their kids at home who are crying. He's basically asking her why she left him with the kids crying at home & he has no money to support them , & he doesnt know what to do now because she left. God Bless You :)

  • @ButterfliesRockk the gals name is Njoki...the rest of your translation is quite good. Njoki is tired of a poor man and would rather go look for fun, leaving her family/children behind to suffer. But Chameleon tells her that those men with big cars have money but not love.
