She was totally busted by the altitude here. You can see it in her face at the end and that last camel spin has such a wide circle she's practically doing a spiral. it's a shame she couldn't skate well here as her North Americans performance was terrific.
Thanks, ntdude: Janet Lynn was special, and you don't see this kind of skating now. School figures are gone, and the short program is in, largely due to Janet. Watching Trixie Shuba skate figures, then clomp like a cow through the long program and win gold, then watching Janet...out figures, in short program. I love watching Janet after all these years. Well, dude, ya did good here. Many of us remember, and miss Janet.
@HowDareThey1970 True,Sarah went back to college and Tara,well,she killed her hip.She did tour I think for a year or so with Stars on Ice and no one liked her.She was treated like a outcast as they adored Kwan.
@HowDareThey1970 I don't think it amounted to much.I know she was on The Young and the Restless.Google her name and see what it says she has been doing since winning the gold.

When we are old and Janet is gone.We will remember her.We won't remember Tara Lipinksi or Sarah Hughes like we' ll remember Janet.

She always used gorgeous music you wouldn't think to use for skating. It's hard to believe she's only 15 here.
