I saw him two weeks ago in London. The concert was marvellous and his singing of the JC Bach very moving. He also performed Sta nell'ircana fantastically well. On top of it all he gave 4 encore performances of various arias. A truly wonderful night.

Indeed! I thought that it was exceptionally generous, too, JaRo! My only disappointment now is that I had dearly wanted to go to his Handel concert in the Theatre des Champs-Elysees next March - but see that it is already booked out. Still, I have read that he is going to be performing in London again with Andreas Scholl next December...

Great that they give some information about J.Chr. also! I am grateful that Philippe always does that, thereby helping to make those forgotten composers and musicians better known.
