  • YOu should go to a coptic christian authority he may have been abel to help you.

  • Nevermind that Jews had their own script that was neither "reformed" nor even remotely "egyptian". LOL. You can call it whatever you want. And PLEASE!!! don't pay any attention to ACTUAL archeological evidence proving BEYOND DOUBT that Jews of the 6th century bc had a distict phonetic script after the fashion of the Syrians and Canaanites and NOT any form of "egyptian". I'm still waiting for an example of "reformed egyptian" from ANYWHERE in the New World other than your imagination.

  • @gurumagoo If your not going to actually sources he uses and check them out yourself its like a person teaching some one how to ski that doesn't know how to ski himself.

  • @BOON70 Sources?!?!?! For real?!?!?! A magic underwear wearing Mormon is asking for sources??? Try any high school text book, or any other text written by a reputable historian or archaeologist. You see, I have what is called an "education".

  • In all the America's, there is not the slightest bit of physical evidence ANYWHERE to corroborate anything in the BOM account. Not one location, not one artifact, NON ONE WRITTEN WORD. The rest speaks for itself. All you can do is lay loose claims to the history of others which you steal and co-opt to suite what you want to believe. I feel embarrassed for you.

  • "Proof of Reformed Egyptian"? Your "proof" is nothing more than Reformed Bullshit. Bottom line: you're gonna believe what you want to believe no matter how dumb it is. You will always see what you want to see, because your mind is closed to any other possibility. That which detracts is ignored and what doesn't support your view is tweeked until it does. You spend so much time defending your beliefs because in the back of your mind, you know its bullshit too.

  • Show me some coinage from the Nephites or Lamanites... or the ruins of their cities with this "reformed egyptian" written anywhere in the city... Dig up the hill Cummorah and show the MILLIONS of bones and METAL weapons the BOM claims. Show me Horse bones that are older than 519 years (when horses were introduced by the Spanish)... BOM says they were there. Semantics (using Mormon sources) really won't convince skeptics.

  • Reformed Egyptian is made up.

  • I think the mormon church needs to start addressing these problems instead of avoiding them. If any one wants to hear a good case by people who actually have credentials watch the living hope ministries videos. DNA vs book of mormon, and The Bible vs book of mormon.

  • @mike8335088

Living Hope Ministries has no more authority than Kraft Macaroni and Cheese does. This is amazingly funny to read.

  • @mike8335088 uhh you know very little about what you say. your little knowledge of that which i believe you get from watching these stupid videos, by which you are copy pasting everything you hear. why dont you do some real study and find out for yourself. leave the arguements to the specialists cause you dont know anything.

  • @mike8335088 Read "Mormon Scholarship, Apologetics, and Evangelical Neglect:

Losing the Battle and Not Knowing It?" We are not avoiding them as much as you may think.

  • @mike8335088 I LOVE that video. i just geo done watching it :D

  • You're using mormon evidence to prove a mormon claim. Do you see the problem?

  • @JohnECocaine

You're ignoring the entire argument and evidence. THAT is the problem I see here.

  • @TheBackyardProfessor What am I ignoring? You only use evidence from mormon sources.

  • @TheBackyardProfessor Have have not provided any proof.

  • @JohnECocaine Gee did you hear in the beginning of the video he said people who are not members of the Mormon Church found this evidence and wrote about it. If you look up the book he is reading from it will give you a reference to those sources. So no the sources he gives theoretically are not from Mormons but of the opposite.

  • @BOON70 What are you talking about? It's a mormon book.

  • @JohnECocaine I have the book he is reading from if you look at the sources used in the book are not Mormons. You can even check the sources and find for yourself.

  • THE LDS CHURCH IS FALSE & JOSEPH SMITH WAS A FALSE PROPHET. Mormons need to stop trying to justify their absurd fairy tales. It's really pathetic how you constantly have keep reassuring each other that your church is "true". If you didn't do so, your members would probably start having doubts & they'd discover the truth. I feel great pity for Mormons & I will pray for you. I hope God will have mercy on your souls when you receive punishment for having followed a FALSE PROPHET & a FALSE CHURCH.

  • @MrRomanceLanguages According to you, why is the Bible the Word of GOD, and not the BOM??

  • @TheSkepticChristian The answer is quite obvious. The Book of Mormon is an artificial work of fiction created by Joseph Smith and his partners in crime. The fact that you question the veracity of the Holy Bible only proves how Mormons are not true followers of Christ. Mormon beliefs & practices are heresy and they contradict true Christian values. Your organization should be called "The Cult of Joseph Smith of Latter-Day Blasphemers."

  • @MrRomanceLanguages "artificial work of fiction" not true, " you question the veracity of the Holy Bible " I don't, but its a fact that its not been proven archeologically, its now even far from proof. Also the fact that almost every official archeologist dosen't considered the Bible as historical. I do, and I believe in it, but we just have to go by faith on somethings, dont we??

  • As members we are all called by the GA's to be self appointed apologist. We can try to match this with that and come up with some kind of solution to prove or to conform what we want it to. The leaders of our church show no interest in these or any other findings.

  • typical mormon reasoning. you honestly think there is archeology to support the book of mormon, another question is do you believe in creationism? if so then why do you quote the earth to be millions of years old. not so because there is not enough sediment on the bottom of the ocean to make the earth that old. in later comments I ll talk about the word JS used in his empty book

  • This is interesting! But how do you respond to dna tests that compared the genetic material of jews and native americans and found no relation between the two?

  • ancient reformed egyptian is a load of crap conspired by joseph smith the greatest false prophet. Joseph smith is no better than those traveling salesmen who sell elixers that claim to cure everything what a fraud joe smith was

  • Thank you for proving to us you don't have the intellectual capacity to even get into the arena, but instead stand by the sidelines pretending you are in the game.

  • I suppose you believe the Earth is flat, in spite of all the evidence to the contrary.

  • If anyone would like to see the PM's between myself and rpavich...PM me.

  • Poor rpavich ..lol

  • This is perfect...water tight...just like every other historical proof in LDS history...

'...Oh it happened!"....or "...Oh it existed!...."

    But it's just now gone....and we don't have it....or "...it's been changed...so we can't identify it..."

Well....flying pizza burrito monsters don't exist either but I can't prove that they never existed....

  • @rpavich

Yes..you are right...the Book of Mormon and all else in the LDS church is just as "unproven" and does not exist as such things as "unicorns, dragons, talking asses, people coming to life, a sea being parted, men walking on water, etc - all in the Bible)...yessir..no proof.

Just like there is no proof for the tablets of the ten commandments that you believe in or any ORIGINAL NT biblical manuscripts that don't date prior to roughly 200 AD except a small fragment of Mark.

  • @imtherealthing,

Lol....what a great argument for all things LDS....

".....waaa! you don't know that anything existed in the bible!! waaaa"...

"Actually....we have the same historical evidence that any ancient document has....eyewitness accounts and/or physical evidence."

I can go...today...to thousands of places and tread the same ground as the bible speaks of...

I can go to the "City of David"....

Unlike that....the BOM has no evidence whatsoever...none...period.

    All conjecture.

  • @rpavich

    Hogwash...you ignoramus.

It's obvious you lack a formal education. Why don't you try this out ..go talk to a professor of Archaeology at a university that has no theological agenda and ask one if archaeology PROVES the Bible..they will laugh you right out of thier lecture hall.

Also, since when is archaeological "proofs" REQUIRED for salvation?..can you point this out from scripture..just "ONE" scripture that states this is the case...lol..simpleton.

    well?..come on

  • @imthrealthing,

    Wow...what swagger....

Step on a toe did I?

Too bad it came to ad hominems instead of rational argumentation, but then again...

When you don't have evidence...swing the bat.

  • @rpavich

As for Archaeology for the Book of Mormon

Try our city of Nahom vs the City of David

One example to your one example

Let me play the the archaeology card here. So let me see if I got you right on this. You say that if we can provide archaeological proof..then you will believe..is this correct?

Using that logic - that archaeology is necessary - then our D&C wins..since "ALL" of our cities, people, and artifacts are VERIFIABLE - unlike the Bible - so do you believe now?

  • @imtherealthing...

Lol....when you bust a map out and find any city from the Book of Mormon...let me know...

    Lotsa swagger...no evidence.

  • @rpavich

I find it funny that that is the best you can come up with rather than adress the points I bring up..well? Do you accept the D&C?..I mean "ALL" of the evidence is there..as your TEST for authenticity...the D&C wins in spades over the Bible.

As I mentioned..the City of Nahom can be verified..well..anything you want to comment on about that?

  • @imthereal,

Ok...point me to a map, or some reputable source that recognizes the "city of Nahom"...

How about a Google map of ...Nahum...I can do that with the City of David....

  • Just kidding....

Any solid reputable archeological evidence will do...

  • @rpavich

Well I decided to send that video which includes a "map" of Nahom....quick..run and type in a search that will support an argument against Nahom...lol..poor anit-mormons.

LOL..arm-chair academics...anti-mormons love thier "google" education.

  • @imtherealthing,

Well, like I said...I leiu of a real argument, ad hominems will do won't they?

I watched the video and I'm at a loss as to what it "proved"....

    Can you help me out?

  • @rpavich

Your too funny. I believe that the video speaks for itself. You wanted me to point out on a map where Nahom was - and I did.

Now are you going to answer my question? What about the D&C being vindicated by Archaeology...ALL of its people, cities, artifiacts are accounted for in some form, whereas the Bible has little to no Archaeological proof...well?..are you going to address this? What are you AFRAID OF?...lol..you make me laugh...ROFL!!!

  • @imthehealing,

    that's beyond laughable....vindicated by archeology?

    You MUST be kidding....

    bible no archeological proof?

    You've been smoking something.

  • the funniest thing of all is that you call me "anti-Mormon" for disagreeing with you but you send me a slew of "Atheist" produced videos...lol...now that's funny...

How desperate are you that you'll get in bed with Atheists on the chance that they disprove something biblical.

    You must be kidding....

    where is Zarahemla again? :)

  • @rpavich

Just because one points you to an Archaeologist who says that there is little to no archaeological evidences and doesn't agree with your worldview - does not strip her of her credentials and work.

Hard to swallow that huh? She is just one of thousands who say the same thing.

Just as there are thousands who attack the Book of Mormon - yet we can also do what others do - seek to show a connection for the Bible and The Book of Mormon in the record. I believe there is for both.

  • @imtherealthing,

You don't get the irony that you are using a source that denies the validity of your BOM also?

That fact is lost on you?

    amazing.

  • @rpavich

I can see you struggle with LOGIC.

  • @imthehealing....

    right...nicely done.

  • @rpavich

Tell me where we find evidence for 2,000,000 people and animals the Exodus?

You forget that the tradition (The TaNaK) was oral first before it was written thousands of years later. Anyone could have just picked known cities to them and assign them into thier story..The Book of Mormon mentions Jerusalem..that is about as factual as a Jew a thousand years later inserting a known city into a written record.

How can you quantify the mention of the city of Jerusalem in the Bible?

  • @imtherealthing,

That's your BOM evidence? That someone could have faked the Exodus account? Really?

No positive evidence for the BOM?

    As for the Exodus....that's funny...

You are comparing a nomadic journey in the desert 4500 years ago, to the plea for ANY ancient artifact to be produced to support the BOM....

In any case See Bible And Spade (an archeological journal) Vol. 16, No. 2, Pg 39

I couldn't cut and paste the article it was over the limit.

  • Positive evidence for the Book of Mormon exists on the Neal A. Maxwell Institute's site. I have yet to see anyone really take it all on in an individual fashion of the incredibly numerous evidences that exist. I also have produced numerous dozens of videos showing positive evidence for the BofM, and am continuing to do so.

  • @BYP,

So...make it easy on this "simpleton"

What's the "nail in the coffin" evidence for the historicity of the BOM....what is the evidence that really "does it for you"....

    Point me to that...

  • @rpavich

    The "evidence"? "the nail..."?

Look to the Saviours nail prints..I never felt them neither have you or anyone else in this time...yet we accept on faith that he has those prints.

The Holy Ghost is my "evidence".

Let me quote a scripture for you:

  • @rpavich

    Acts 7:51-53

Ye STIFFNECKED and uncircumcised IN HEART and EARS, YE DO ALWAYS RESIST the HOLY GHOST: as your fathers did, SO DO YE. Which of the PROPHETS have not your fathers PERSECUTED and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: Who have RECIEVED the law BY THE DISPOSTION OF ANGELS, and have NOT KEPT IT

  • @rpavich

    Acts 7:54

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

  • @rpavich

    @rpavich

LOL..stop you make me side hurt with your anti-logical remarks...lol

    Now answer the question please.

  • @rpavich

I like how you keep AVOIDING my question..you can't keep running from the inevitable.

Your ignorance is showing..what's the matter can't cut and paste an answer? You lack the cognitive ability to reason?

Your "Google" education not working for you? Tell you what..tell me where you live and you and I will attend the nearest non-theologically biased university in your area and walk into the Archaeology Faculty and ask them where all the "proofs/evidences" are for the Bible..ok?

  • @imtherealthing,

You are one arrogant human. Very rude.

I mean that as an accurate observation, not an ad hominem attack.

I guess I'm unsure of this mysterious question you think that I'm running from....

    Can you restate?

  • @rpavich

Oh come now..don't forget to take the "BEAM" out of thine own eye hypocrite before taking the "mote" out of mine..calling me rude..go read over your comments AGAIN.

    Address the the question:

Since the D&C has all the archaeological evidences that the Bible lacks (i.e. ALL of the cities can be verified, all of the people can also be verified through county records - unlike the Bible - and we have most artifacts of that period) why then do you not accept the D&C as divine?

  • Just what can be verified in the D&C and not the bible?

Why do I not accept the D&C as divine?

    you must be kidding.....

  • @rpavich

"you must be kidding is not an answer"

Well..can you explain why you feel you can accept the Bible and not the D&C?

  • By the way...this brought up a good question....

"Can you explain why you reject the "Book of Jareneck" but accept the BOM?

I'd be interested in why that would be relevant also.

  • @rpavich

You need to answer MY question I posed to you first...I will answer your in turn..I aksed first and now do me the courtesy of answering my question:

How do you kow that the Bible is the Word of God and that the men who wrote the Bible were prophets?

Can you quantify that? Show "me" the evidence for your belief in the Bible. And if the D&C makes the same claim and we see that by YOUR standard of proof - archaeology vindicates the D&C over the Bible.

  • WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an interesting observation Imtherealthing! I have never thought of it in those terms before. HOWLING LAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!! I claim the right to use that in the future. THANKS. How absolutely fascinating to put it that way when archaeology seems to be the final word. LOLOL! Utterly brilliant man, utterly ***BRILLIANT***

  • @TheBackyardProfessor

    Thanks Prof.

These simpletons have a hard time with logic when it is fed to them.

We have ALL the ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROOFS to vindicate the D&C - we have the cities, people, and artifacts..now why don't they accept the D&C..as it makes a claim similar to the Bible and yet it wins in spades over the Bible for "evidences.

  • @TheBackyardProfessor

...if you ask these simpletons to tell you why they know the bible is true - it sort of goes something like this:

[ they beat thier club on the ground]..bunga..bunga...me knows the bible is true..that good enough.

  • @rpavich

Nahom is there...go find it yourself.

Now what about the D&C?..well? All of it can be verified..why do you avoid dealing with this?..what are you afraid of?

  • The Neal A. Maxwell Institute site. It is not just one mere item that impresses me, but the overall amounts and kinds of evidences for the scriptures. It is, without question, impressive. It's only a mere 150,000 pages of evidence, analysis, and discussion. It'll only take a few weeks to master and grasp, I am sure......

  • Really?

So this is the sequence of events?

I point out that the greatest argument for the lost "reformed Egyptian" is that there is no evidence to the contrary.

Then, I get slammed as a simpleton, and personally attacked.

Then when I ask for some specific thing to study, so the dialogue can continue I get the "well there are mountains of evidence....go to these videos"....

None of which speaks to the validity of any of the evidence ...just. that someone thinks that there is a mountain of it.

  • @rpavich

    Poor rpavich

    He/she (thinking the latter)

Just finished PM'ing me back and forth...then in the end - BLOCKED" me because she could not handle the truth....lol

She pulls the "personal attack" card all the while forgetting she came HERE to do just that - attack the Lord's church, the prophet (bears false witness against him without even knowing him and allowing the prophet to defend himself - easy to attack someone who is dead).

She MOCKS me - look below to her comments..

  • @rpavich

She tries to discredit my education as being of the devil - saying it is "secular" as though that is some sort of poison to be EDUCATED...lol....telling me I attack the Bible EVEN AFTER I bore my witness to her I "love the Bible" and "defend it" in my classes where it is attacked - yet in her little snippet before she "blocked" me she hurls more insults..funny how these anti-mormons work huh?

  • @rpavich

And yes rpavich - you are a simpleton for buying into the LIES of false christianity.

Tell me rpavich..can you find your nicene god in the Bible for me..since I have a hard time finding it ..since it is dependant upon two words "Essence" and "Substance" to show the connection between the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost - this ONENESS you trinitarians speak of - can you find those words in ANY of the ORIGINAL "Biblical" languages (Classical Hebrew, Aramaic, Koine Greek)?

  • @rpavich

    @rpavich

    RE: Reformed Egyptian

It EXISTS - there is NO DISPUTE - wether you or your kind want to ACCEPT it does not matter - it does not discount that our detractors mocked us for even such a thing to exist - yet here we are - vindicated - as time goes on..more light will shine and clear away the darkness to expose your false christianity. The Lord will not be mocked - in HIS own due time..not ours..he will manifest the truth of it unto the world. We live by faith not "signs"

  • @rpavich

I am also awaiting a scripture showing that archaelogy is necessary for salvation..well?

  • @imtherealthing,

"..awaiting a scripture showing that Archeology is necessary for salvation"....

    Huh?

No wonder Mormons have the reputation for being obtuse....

Not only who said anything about that....why would anyone make that statement???

    Weird....

  • @rpavich

You indirectly imply that "archaeological evidence" is a necessary component to vindicate the TRUTH as found in the Bible...do not try to weasel out of this..that was the obvious meaning in your statements below.

  • Some people are just in denial, or in a state of wanted ignorance, it would seem.

No, I'm not calling them stupid, for we are all ignorant on different subjects. But I have already shown athono from a thesaurus that modified and reformed are synonyms, and then I get a message saying how you are lying and I "have an axe to grind."

    Please.

  • But remember, we as Mormons are the ones who use ad hominim. All others have the evidence against us - LOL!

  • ROFL. Ya, i've still got this one guy (1MoNoMo) who is just full of it. Oh, Lord save us all :D

  • The video response is the 2nd part to this first video. I show an enormous amount of evidence in these two videos, thanks to the labors of the scholars.

  • English writing critics, don't realize, or care to admit, that while tapping out English works on their key-boards to continue the myth that "there's no evidence for the Book of Mormon," or "reformed Egyptian." Forget, or don't look into how that English letters go back into Latin, which go back into Phoenician, which goes back into Demotic type Egyptian writing systems. So to tell us there's no evidences, they have to use reformed, altered, changed, modified form of deformed Egyptian/English!

  • This is PRECISELY what I show in my 2nd video! Glad to see someone else has this figured out....

  • please no more background music

  • Can we use the glyphs shown Anthon and call them reformed Egyptian? It should be possible to show any linguistic and alphabet historical links to the claim they are R.Egyptian. Next, " I make a record in the Language of my father (from) the Learning of the Jews and the Language of the Egyptians" doesn't give us evidence.. But can the Anthon characters be used? There are many glyphs to examine. And Wow, look at all those books!

  • Apparently, some people think that languages don't change...LOL

  • languages change all the time :)

  • "Special pleading" and "Appeal to ignorance" are also logical fallacies. Saying "you are just not smart enough to understand" and leaving it at that is a logical fallacy.

  • You have done this several times. You said that I did not have a sufficient understanding of what "translation" and "interpretation" mean and then you go on and make a video saying that interpretation comes from the heart alone. Thus you illustrate that it is you who do not understand what interpretation and translation is by suggesting it is nothing more than an art. Smith was doing nothing more than interpreting tea leaves.

This does not change the fact that he was wrong.

  • By the way, your "reformed egyptian" does not match what smith jotted down on a piece of paper so his friends could verify the language with a linguist. So are you showing that Smith is a liar?

  • No. Those are in my 2nd video that You Tube has yet to upload. I have waited 3 days for it.

  • Well of course it doesn't exactly match, because it was a language exclusive to the Nephites!

  • Klingon is a made up language and beings too.

Are Nephites real to you or just an entertainment?

  • That may be, but the Prof has clearly shown modified egyptian script, so what is your point?

Yes, Nephites are real to me.

  • Modified Egyptian is not the same as reformed Egyptian. The difference between written, cursive and printed text is nothing like the difference between Chinese and Korean (Korean is reformed Chinese).

Are Elves and Faries real to you? What constitues enough proof for something to be real to you? If I look into a hat with my seer stones and tell you of a wonderful land, would you doubt me? What if I told you you would be see a vision of proof once you were holy enough. That is all it took

  • Modified is not the same as reformed? It is used as an adjective to describe the changed script, which we have proof, as I continue to show in the 2nd video (look at the video response). You are simply wrong on this.

  • You have proof that script has changed and this is your proof of reformed Egyptian? Is this what you are really saying?

  • the reformed Egyptian talked about in the book of mormon was modified! Even the text alludes to the fact that they modified it for their usage.

Keep beating a dead horse, it's not going to get you anywhere. BYP has clearly shown the fallacy and hypocrisy of the critics in arguing against reformed Egyptian in the BOM.

  • Also, BYP is NOT saying that the fact that reformed egyptian exists proves the BOM is truly the word of God. Please, no straw men.

Tell me, do you believe in the Bible? Because if you do, then perhaps you should read about how the ancient Isrealites would use the Urim and Thummim, or how about the parting of the red Sea, etc. Surely that wouldn't seem ludicrous to a non-believer... My testimony isn't founded in linguistic evidence. It is founded in God and His Gospel.

  • They are real, exactly as Jesus was real. Do I have proof yet? Probably not that the world will accept. Do I care? Not a whit.....

  • That does not make sense. You mix religion with pseudo-science. Michelangelo painted God and Man reaching but not touching for a reason. You see, sects that insist a touch has been made are cults. They are not religions. So don't equate LDS with a religion. That misleads Mormons and insults the rest.

There is a reason why suicide is such a common cause of death in Utah. Snakeoil is poison, my brothers.

  • Your interpretation is precisely that...your own view. I disagree with all your conclusions, exactly as you do mine. I will equate LDS with religion because that is what it is, get over it. I could care less if that insults the small minded folk of the world, that is their problem, not mine.

  • I know why Gee and Rhodes do not come out and say emphatically that Smith had the ability to translate Egyptian. If they did they would be sued by the scientific community for making false claims. This is what happens when people make false scientific statements. It would be just as bad as saying they have cloned a human being without having the data to back it up.

  • LOL! Oh sure, sure.....well hell then the religious community oughta sue every single one of us Mormons for teaching about Joseph Smith. You are just plain silly.

  • So since defending Smith is off the table they resort to attacking Larson. This might not be outright lying but it is still deceptive. It is bearing false witness.

  • So a book review of Larson's book is bearing false witness? You're kidding right? It's a flippin book review for crying out loud.

  • It still seems problematic that the texts would be written in demotic in the first place, since the authors were ostensibly from Israel. Hebrew was largely already developed by then. Amos was written in Hebrew, and it dates back to the 8th century.

  • btw, did you get a new webcam? Your videos seem like they're in HD these days :)

  • Not HD, but MUCH clearer eh? I have a new Mac and the iMovie software is simply outta site! I LOVE IT.

  • do you have more vids on reformed egyptain coming?

  • Yes. I tried uploading them, but the world wants Super Bowl action, not some idiot Mormon showing proof for the Book of Mormon, so it probably won't make it til tomorrow.

  • hahah oh well. And thanks for the info on Sinclair. Very interesting stuff.

  • does the anthon transcript match the mic mac indian writing? i watched a video saying they do and that the scolars call it reformed egyptian?

  • I've heard that before. I shall have to check. It's fascinating that the Micmac Indians also met Sinclair when he arrived here in America *before* Columbus by more than 100 years....

  • I feel silly but who is Sinclair lol and how come it's facinating that they met him 100 years before columbus?

  • Andrew Sinclair wrote a nifty book "The Sword and the Grail" Crown Pub., 1992 that talks about him. He also wrote "The Discovery of the Grail," in 1998 that was pretty good. It's all about the Templars discovering America and hiding the grail and lost treasures of Jerusalem, etc.

  • Another bullseye to support the BOM. It really sets the tone for the rest of the world. These critics need to take the time to comment after your videos and not before.

  • Excellent! As always.

  • Thanks. I keep on going and going. There is just soooooo much that is exciting to learn and share. It's not my fault honest! LOL!

  • I noticed that the translation from Michael Rhodes on the BYU web site does not match Joe Smith's translation of the papri.

Joe Smith could not translate Egyptian. The gig is up.

  • Oh drats. Yup, you caught em. Wow, Am I the one who has to give em the bad news or do you want to?

  • What do you mean? Give who the bad news?

  • @athono

I am not sure that proves anything. The English subtitles on one of my anime's doesn't match the dubbed English exactly.

  • I am sure even Michael Rhodes and John Gee would admit that Joe Smith could not translate Egyptian.

  • Ask em and see.....

  • Good job brother..once again..may the LORD bless you in the defense of the faith.

  • I am truly a very blessed man, thank you. I pray the LORD blesses you even more....

  • BYP does the anthon transcript match some of the reformed egyptian thats been found in archeology?

  • Yes, absolutely. I show that in my next reformed Egyptian video. It should post in about 15-20 minutes.

  • Awesome! thanks byp

  • Great work BYP !!! Keep flooding youtube with truth :)

  • wow enjoying the new camera BYP

and yes the editing skills have improved well, 2 fold :]

keep up the good wrk BYP.

  • KEWL! I shall improve with age - LOL!

  • Go Kerry Go!

  • I will NEVER forget the ANTImormon who told me that there can be NO such things as reformed Egyptian because there was NO country called

    **REFORMED EGYPT**

  • LOL That's funny.

Hey I actually met a reformed Egyptian once. He was LDS. Lol

  • LOL!

  • LOL. That's like saying there's no such language as Olde English because there's no such country as Olde England :)

  • ROFL.

Oh man i almost fell of my chair reading that.

  • Now that's funny, I don't care who ya' are.

  • Holy Schmoly!............ayiyi!

  • yeah, I think he said there was

    UPPER EGYPT and

    LOWER EGYPT but no

    REFORMED EGYPT

  • Why is it that mainstream scholarship in the field of linguistics does not agree with the current LDS theory of "Reformed Egyptian" as a whole? What makes LDS theories more valid than those of the secular majority?

Would it not be a leap of faith to assume that all linguists are conspiring to withhold the information that you say is abundant, mainly the proof of Reformed Egyptian existing and that it existed in the Americas?

Also, do you believe that Amerindians are Israelites?

  • It's not Reformed Egyptian, it's reformed Egyptian (the Egyptian language reformed from the original over the years to fit the language of the people using it). If you don't think languages can change or be adapted by people compare Olde English of around 1000 years ago with current modern English. Or even the differences between British English and American English.

  • Why is it that even scholars don't agree on everything?

And did you totally miss the point of the video?

Reformed languages are nothing new, and keep in mind that again ONLY the nephites would have had the reformed egyptian character, and it would have died with them.

Egyptian language has even been reformed to express things in Aramaic !

And no, we do not believe all of them are and certainly the Book of Mormon never claims such.

  • LOl, what a farcical farce!

  • Yeah, that one kinda slipped - GRIN!

  • Because they are biased. Egyptian HAS been reformed, and I am in the process of making yet another video with even more proof of this. Hieratic and Demotic and Meroitic are ***THREE*** languages that absolutely PROVE Egyptian has been reformed, i.e., changed, which is the way Mormon uses the word about the Nephites reforming the Egyptian THEY knew.

  • Great video production, this time 'round! Your editing skills are improving.

  • Yes, well it helps to have absolutely superior equipment to help me edit. Keep yer eyes peeled, I am gonna start ROLLING with this now....woo hoo!

  • Hehe, what a farcecicle farce,

    grin :D

  • Great vid. I like the new camera and the Mac production values. What HD video camera did you get?

  • Hey Bill... the camera I am so fortunate to own is a Canon Vixia HF20, HD with a 15X zoom, and a decent size hard drive.

  • Awesome! Although I'm not sure I like seeing your mug in HD! You're not as old as you used to be. You're older!

  • Now listen pal, yer makin it personal now, though its true enough as well, sigh...LOL! I doubt I will do much in HD yet, because so many computers cannot handle it yet. Give it a year or two and then my real beauty will show through....
