I did this for about an hour doing trial and error. I never once died with Zangief and I can attribute that to the fact that he's very broken.

This can be useful if you screw up your ultra combo though.

Sad fact of life is pop culture is always going to be full of no talent people singing one line songs that burrow themselves into the minds of the weak unwillingly, but I don't think Street Fighter falls into this rank.

Computer players are a little different. They themselves are cheap. You play a shooter on, headshot from 5 miles away with a pistol.

Street Fighter has always been playing other people, that's where the real challenge is. You can always counter cheap people.

to do the final atomic buster easily, just input the 720 motion while in your spinning clothesline. While jumping works well too... as this guy says in his video...

remember how you said focus attacks knocks down enemies? well during that split second or time frame your still able to pull off zangief's ultra combo with that delay i saw it in this video tutorial.

do you know how you do zangiefs focus attack? during that phase you can perform his ultra combo move without having to jump around. So what im trying to say is that you can do is ultra combo during his focus attack move.  i heard supposedly thats the easier way of doing his move

Focus attacks knock the enemy down and back slightly. You need to be right beside the enemy to actually do the focus attack and they must be standing upright.

if u master focus + forward dash, u can pull those off pretty easy on AI

If you do a focus attack then dash forward, you're still going to be jumping when you input the command for his ultra combo.

There really is no easy way to do that. Icons are attained by completing various objectives through the various game modes. It's one of the incentives to keep you playing.

Doesn't have to be Zangief but he is the easiest to do it with.

Remember, you cannot switch halfway through, use any continues and you must meet the requirements.

the achievement is one of the easiest in the game and to use zangiefs ultra combo is simple u just have to do it when the rage meter is full

i was looking for alittle more proof that you can do it with 1 perfect and 3 ultra finishes cause when i did it Akuma came out not Gouken but all i saw was afew fights and that was it.

I posted this video to show a few methods to use and practice to achieve getting Gouken. The proof is at the beginning with the display of the achievement. Unfortunately, no. It screws it up if you have a new challenger. This isn't confirmed, but I've heard of that happening.

You cannot use continues. You wouldn't be able to get Gouken to challenge you if you did not.
