@wh1010wh There was a professor from Buffalo who was determined to prove that it was a forward pass. He spent months analyzing the footage. In the end he concluded that the ball traveled backwards by less than an inch. It was the correct call.

For the bazillionth time, they proved the Music City Miracle was a lateral. From where Wycheck released the ball to where Dyson caught it, it was a sideways throw. You didn't "discover" anything here, the refs correctly let the play run, reviewed it, and upheld it. It's an awesome play. But that "new ball" play the high school ran is bush league. I hate that crap.

The play they should have taken from the Steelers-Seahawks Super Bowl was when Hasselbeck was flagged for an illegal block when making a tackle. His tackle was so tricky, the refs had to make something up to counter it.
