I don't think she's all that chubby. For one thing she is taller than the other girls and built differently. She has a lot more muscle in areas where the other girls don't. Because she is standing next to girls who are smaller than her it just makes her look bigger. Before they all hit that massive bit of puberty it wasn't a problem, but when you hit puberty, different peoples bodies change differently. She might outgrow it. Risako was a bit heavier in 2 pvs and also the camera adds 10 lbs.
Also, she just looks chubby in comparison to the other girls. If you take a look at the cover of her new photobook, you will see that she's actually rather thin.
The same sort of thing happened with Ai Kago of MoMusu. She had a round-ish face and wasn't as skinny as the very skinny Nozomi Tsuji, so some people thought she was chubby, when she really wasn't.
People change over time, you know. Maasa, for example, lost all that weight specifically for her photobook. It wasn't some trick of the camera like you're implying.
I wasn't really implying there were any tricks of the camera, and, yeah, I do know she lost weight. At least, I do now, so, I 'm not entirely sure I even agree with my own comment anymore ^^;
I still wouldn't say she's exactly chubby, though.
