Great tips! Just to add a few

1)RESEARCH the company

2)questions about weaknesses should be answered in terms of something that was formerly weak and focus on what you did to overcome weakness

3)Shake hands and wait to be offered a seat

4)For quiting a job i don't think u should lie though. you can talk about how u wanted to continue growing as (Job title) and are seeking qualities that exist with new company.

@kalenaaa oh my gosh I do the same thing! But I find the best thing to do is to remember that the interviewer poops the same way you do lol. They are human and you have nothing to fear.

the guy had barely any questions to ask me and he was so chill!

so he set up a second interview with the manager-manager this thursday

The other thing is when they ask if I have questions, I ask if they still have concerns about my ability to do the job. They are able to voice any concerns and I can deal with them.

I haven't had many interviews, probably because I prepare well for the ones I have had. You'd be surprised how many people utterly fail at interviewing. I sat in on several and they were awful. Just following your advice alone would have made a huge difference.

If an interview is going well, when it's wrapping up at the end, say something like, "You know, I think we might have a good fit here. What do you think?" It's still open-ended enough for them to be non-committal, but it ends it really well and makes more of a connection. Every time I've used it, I've gotten the job. Of course, I have to feel that the interview is going fairly well to use it in the first place.

Love the video. Everything you say is 100% on point. I work in human resources. Wanted to add a few additional things I see on applications that delay and potential prevent people from getting a job.

1. Bad/Disconnected contact numbers for employers & references.

2. Failure to disclose criminal charges outside of traffic violations.

3. Overstating dates of employment/job title.

Excellent video!! May I add:

1. Be prepared to describe & articulate on your strengths and weaknesses;

2. Be prepared to at least one "surprise question" a la Miss Universe pagent--i.e., "What would you do if you were a CEO for this company?"

3. Be who you are. Yes, you can use all the wonderful tips and tricks--but it really boils down to you as a person. You don't have to disclose too much about yourself but honesty is always appreciated and respected.
