Awe, this was so sweet and cute and amazing. I love Henry and Barbara together, they were just great. And is it really true that he loved her? I never knew that, but I've always known that they had great chemistry together.

Bravo! One of the greatest of all screen teams, and Stany was Fonda's favorite leading lady. He wanted HER for "On Golden Pond"!

Oh, me TOO! It's not that I don't love Kate, but Stany would have been sublime. Fonda was nuts about her and really fought to have her cast, as did Jane. Sadly, at the time Kate was bigger box-office. Stany would surely have finally gotten her Oscar had she played Ethel. OMG, look what she did in "The Thorn Birds". It's nice to see how her reputation grows as the years pass; certainly she was the finest actress in screen history, bar none.
