Actualy, this is a country where food is a very important part of traditional culture, from the many popular sayings comparing women's beauty to fish (sardines and bacalhau) and women's body parts to fruits, to the long family reunions around dinner/lunch table (I heard that in Japan it is not polite to talk at meal time, here it is the exact opposite!). Anyway, I don't know if it is cultural, but foodfights seem absolutly disgusting and ridiulous to me.

I like how something as complex and brutal as warfare has been in a sense broken done into the fundamentals of simple childish gameplay. It's very visual, you pick the same feeling of a battle sequence yet it feels simulated. The use of children makes it seem innocent or non-violent in the sort surreal way. In fact by they end of the video you happen to find a beauty in conflict. It's very interesting how this was done. Serj Tankman has done a similar for his song "Empty Walls."
