Ireland must unfortunately for geostrategic reasons fall under our British boots when we leave the EU, to guarantee safety, to raise taxation & to ensure the sufficient levels of subservience, deference, obedience and tribute to which such a insignificant peoples owe to their superiors. Unfortunatly I feel that this will not be welcomed by the Irish, and that they will not see the benefits to them by being so graced to be in their position of subservience to us. I hope they don't throw life away
Thank you Nigel for remembering the Commonwealth. It should not be something Britain or any of it's members (I'm an Australian) should be ashamed/self conscious of/ or make apologies for. Nigel is right - Britain is in a unique position among Europeans. Only the French came even remotely close to the influence Britian had/has on a GLOBAL level. Why should Britain be constrained as a province, a franchise within Europe?? Well done, well said Nigel.
@ZEDGIN Nigel is not only fighting for Britain now i am following him longer now maybe some years and I can tell you I agreee with everything he proposes he is truly listening to what people need and what europe needs. @tantjenbertolli Nigel gave up a higher paying job to enter politics, because he felt so strongly about the EU issue. So the idea we are paying for him to live in luxury is ridiculous.

@tantjenbertolli Ha ha ha, as soon as i read your comment on the ukip channel i said to myself i bets he's from that non country Belgium what is it with you snivelling Belgians.
As an Australian I am watching on in horror as the Mother Country gets sucked ever deeper into this evil empire. I fear that one day our politicians here would sell our own sovereignty into some kind of Asian Union. This would be difficult if the EU fails so I hope & pray it does. Nigel's speeches are brilliant and inspiring to the common man. I can't understand why there haven't been revolutions all over Europe yet. Are people asleep? And since when did the Irish lie down and die so easily?
@allegrononstoppo That's so right, from one fellow commonwealthian to another. Australia was sovereign even before 1914 in the British Empire, and I would hope would still tell others where to go, as she did back then, over meddling. I feel what our British politicians in having no ambition for Britain in the 70s and turning away from Australia, Canada, New Zealand etc, is to their total shame. The British people never want that to happen. CANZUK forever.
@allegrononstoppo I think people are afraid europe might become an empire and we should be part of that empire rather than at it's doorstep. A lot of people in UK like farage think we have negleted the commonweath because of EU relations and should strength relations with them as seperate nations NO SUPERSTATES, DON'T JOIN ANY ASIAN UNION ONCE YOU GET IN YOU CAN'T GET OUT.
@timewilltell7 "Do you realize that fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous Communist plot we have ever had to face? ..In addition to fluoridating water, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk, ice cream? Ice cream! Children's ice cream! Introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual, and certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works." (Dr Strangelove)
@allegrononstoppo views like these arent put out in the open and you wont see them broadcast on the nightly news, which is the source of information for 90% of people. we wont ever wake up because we don't ever know what's really going on. when the occupy protests happened in this country most of the people that we were protesting on behalf of turned against us, you should never underestimate the power of the mainstream media. they can mould people into their own agenda.
@allegrononstoppo The Irish were given two "choices": a lifetime of misery or a summer of war. However, with the Euro crisis, the Irish people might just have a chance into regaining their sovereignty. Things in the UK under Cameron are looking promising, compared to the situation in the Euro-area (except Germany), and I do believe a reinforcement of the Angloshpere is possible. The US will be key in this, if they decide to unilaterally repatriate all their placements in the EU to the UK.
@allegrononstoppo As an American watching this I see my own home sacrificing the sovereignty of the people in favor of the state and our people becoming drones to a defunct and broken ideology. Liberty and induvidualism are going to Hell in a handbasket and no one seems to care.
The EU is the biggest investor in Australia and I don't see a lack of antipodes in London either. The EU is not an empire, that is something Farage still yearns. The Commonwealth was a bogus imperial trade block held together at the point of a gun barrel.
As for the Irish, they have grown up instead acting like colonial subjects still doffing their caps to the Queen. Perhaps that something you could learn down under.
@youngian The EU has no money of its' own to invest in any country, Private investors from many countries may invest in Australia, unless you are saying that Australia receives foreign aid? Perhaps you should look beyond your perceived stereotypes colouring your view of history?
lol he always makes me smile, i like nigel as he says very well what we need him to say. Loud and clear, but then the wheels of EU keep turning and taking and moulding till we are like the USA, who wants that.
