Personally this album did nothing but dissapoint me. Linkin park was a favorite of mine till this. they strayed to far from their original style now they sound so generic and poppy almost metaora and hybrid theory were truly the best

I cannot say at all that I don't like Linkin Park's new songs.. but it doesn't have the same jump as it used to have, I can definitely say that they aren't as good as Hybrid Theory or Meteora.. even Minutes to Midnight was pretty good, I guess it's just something for different people, and I won't judge for that.
Mike shinoda needs to make a completely new band like he did with fort minor because this can't be called linkin park it's degrading for linkin parks original fans. It's cool if u like it but it's not the same band as it was before so it shouldn't have the same name. That way mike can due his mainstream pop music under a different name and have good rock under the name of linkin park.

To be honest with you the new LP is just as good as the old LP and anyone that says there is anything wrong with LP ( new or old ) has a big problem. Plus since they got a new type of music they got thousands of new listeners making them millions of dollars, I think that was very smart of them

Wow theres a pattern like the whole album is one song. Also I like these songs but I also miss the old lp. But who gives a shit, I dont mind as long as the music is good. I still think lp is the best band and I welcome this,change.
This is one of the most underrated albums of the last decade. The entire concept of this album is brilliant. It's along the same lines of musical revolution, just like Revolver was to the Beatles.
BTW, I don't know what these people are whining about; I love the new Linkin Park! It's a refreshing change. And I see a pattern: before, their songs where focused on a lot of pain and bitterness. This new album seems to be about healing, and coming to terms with loss.
This album is a fucking train wreck... seriously wtf... LP has just turned into techno, computerised beats. LP is rock not this garbage. In The End, Numb, Given Up, Faint, all these songs defined Linkin Park, this pile of crap makes LP look soft ass and lame. Almost like pop? Fuck "A Thousand Suns" the old Linkin Park was amazing.

It's a different sound for Linkin Park. When Mike Shenoda did hip-hop, he formed Fort Minor. I think that Linkin Park had every right to make this album, I just don't think it should have been an album by Linkin Park, per se. I think this would have made a fantastic side project is all. I'm still not 100% about this one, but I'll always love Linkin Park.

they have become so lyericly poetic in some songs like waiting for the end, the messenger, iradecent...just plain good songs but all make you think, and really wander about stuff...thats what it does for me, when i listen to messenger, i think about the love of my life, iradecent i think about life and waiting for the end i think about death

This is one of the most underrated albums of the last decade. The entire concept of this album is brilliant. It's along the same lines of musical revolution, just like Revolver was to the Beatles.

BTW, I don't know what these people are whining about; I love the new Linkin Park! It's a refreshing change. And I see a pattern: before, their songs where focused on a lot of pain and bitterness. This new album seems to be about healing, and coming to terms with loss.

This album is a fucking train wreck... seriously wtf... LP has just turned into techno, computerised beats. LP is rock not this garbage. In The End, Numb, Given Up, Faint, all these songs defined Linkin Park, this pile of crap makes LP look soft ass and lame. Almost like pop? Fuck "A Thousand Suns" the old Linkin Park was amazing.

It's a different sound for Linkin Park. When Mike Shenoda did hip-hop, he formed Fort Minor. I think that Linkin Park had every right to make this album, I just don't think it should have been an album by Linkin Park, per se. I think this would have made a fantastic side project is all. I'm still not 100% about this one, but I'll always love Linkin Park.
