  • That's great I'm making one have been last two years out of technic and other things my bull wheels are close line pulleys and shiv trains are made from Popsicle sticks and Lego wheels with rubber bands for shivs

  • @Mega2679; i´ve used a 12 volt dc geared motor, type modelcraft RB35 with 1:600 gear reduction in combination with a 150 mm diameter turming wheel.

  • Unfortunately nowhere, i have produced them by myself on a lathe. My rolls have 20 mm in diameter and i haven´t found anything suitable; for smaller dimensions you can look at the boatmodelling website, they offer brass made rope rolls.

    Some other model lift builders use Lego rolls, collegue Christian had fitted his towers with church organ cable wheels...;-)
