I've been trying over 15 tiems to tame a rare pet and each eitehr someone has beaten me to it or has killed my pet while I am taming it. Well the crap is going to stop and I'm going to pay it foward and will do the same to others as they have done to me. enough is enough and I will google and find respawn times and will kill them to grief you loosers. My hunter at lvl 85 was only doing either 4k or 6k dps on a good day. I changed out my trinkets and only my trinkets and now I do 9k dps. WOuld love to see numerical data changed to a pie chart of my stats before and after.

BM - DPS is lower, good for leveling, solo questing, solo PvE, kinda sucks as PvP. MM - DPS is higher, best for PvP and best for PvE raids, in PvE raids only use talents that maximize DPS. Survival - I have no idea what it's good for, never used it. Am I right about BM and MM? When survival should be used? Thank you.

@wanttobehacker Yep, the core hound is a great ferocious (DPS) pet who brings bloodlust and is awesome. When I raided on my hunter in beta, I made sure to bring a Core Hound (for lust), a Devilsaur (for rampage), and a Raptor (for sunder armor).

I also find it interesting that he went for traps as the example, when every suv hunter uses black arrow for the proc (in WotLK). Maybe those two talents changed during the beta and now they changed back to how they work on WotLK?

@Highlaw Of course I use Black Arrow every time it is available. It's a 24 second cooldown, 15 duration, you know, so it's impossible to have it up all the time.

Patch 4.0.1 hit 3 days ago & it's giving me brain cramp! I have a raid on Sunday - i think I'll give BM a go. I was always a Beast Master at heart (even though i prostituted myself to whichever spec was highest dps just to get the LK down). Anyway, thanks for this video man, it was awesome... @svennerap In testing, I had the most fun with beast. I didn't care for Survival much. I don't think there is a "best spec" but to me Beast is just the most interesting because of all the cool Exotic pet abilities.
