So is the stethoscope for us to determine that the pulse has stopped in the arm or to calculate it?

@ADGMoN3y You just use the stethoscope to hear the patient's pulse and determine that it has started/stopped. You don't calculate the pulse, just record the systolic and diastolic pressures.
