Yamaha must release traction control and all stock V max bikes will run in the low 9 sec bracket. The bike makes oodles torque low down for a great launch.

Does this have some sort of launch control? It seems like it dogged down a bit off the line, then just exploded down the track in a blaze of bent light waves.

Does it launch pig rich, then the nox comes on or something? It looks like it could have tolerated a little more power right at first, just before it went nuclear and melted the track.

That would have been the first generation Yamaha Vmax in 1992. This is the second generation Star Vmax and it IS the first 8 second pass for that model.
