  • WOW, these Pokemons looks great :))

  • @socijalista :) And they're soft, too.

  • Please check out my new Vids and leave feedback thanks love Dannii xx

  • The noisy fans employed in your barn are irritating. Constant blinking from the youngsters indicates annoyance as well. Lovely creatures, sweet nature. I have sweaters, socks, mittens and scarves from alpaca fibre. Nothing better. Keep up the good work by producing products made in USA or Canada.

  • lovely creation of the nature

  • I love all Camilids - especially their hilarious teeth. Just wondering: do they bite? I was bitten by a horse once and with his block-like teeth it was not fun.

  • @bustacapinlutha I think just about any animal bites if you startle them or are unkind to them. However, these alpacas were nice. The baby ones wanted me to pet them, when I sat on the ground they came and sat in my lap. I still want an alpaca farm.

  • Alpacas brought from Peru?

  • Alpacas brought from Peru?

  • Notice how that black eating? It was moving it's jaw from left to right, consecutively.

  • It's a Lama, it's a sheep... no, it's the mighty ALPACA!

  • @UmadBRO1999 nope, Chuck Testa

  • @DrJuice1 dont get it

  • Personally, I think they're secretly stuffed animals brought to life with eldrich magic.

Just to slobber on your arm and give you neck hugs.

  • @WhoopWhoopnumbers that's what i was just thinking xD

  • AWWWWWWWW.

  • I have been considering raising animals with valuable coats for a couple of years. Alpacas seem to make the most sense. Can anyone give me a general idea of how much land and how many Alpacas would be a good start? Also, what is the range of price apiece?

  • @artystrike1 Here's a very helpful website that should answer all your questions: profiting with alpacas dot com. Take out the spaces.

Another thing you can do is buy some alpacas and board them at an alpaca farm (many farms do this). That way you can get a start without having to buy a lot of property. If you have the space, of course, it's a matter of setting up your farm. Best of luck to you. Make videos let me know your progress.

  • it's awesome how they're so curious yet polite haha. it's like it's trying to check you out in the most settle way possible

  • @GruntWhacker This video is a condensation of several hours of videos. Frequently I was surrounded and they were nudging up against me wanting attention. Friendly and curious. The newborns are shy, but get over it if you do something that catches their attention. Curiosity trumps shyness. And their coats are much softer than the adults, which are pretty soft.

  • aww

  • 07:20 why is he nibbling on the pillar??

  • @PigSty1985 Not certain, but several would rub against pillars. Those I think were doing it to get rid of flies or bugs. You're right, this guy is nibbling on the pillar. Sticky, moisture, something that tasted good?

  • 草泥马

  • i just wana jump on its back and ride it like a horse ;O

  • @MrAnimeking18 Eden ;)

  • I LOVE LLAMAS!!! ;O

  • @MrAnimeking18 I have a friend who has some llamas. Same family as alpacas. They're very cut, but bigger. They do tend to spit more and with less provocation. I've never been spat at by an alpaca. Have been by llamas and camels.

  • the little brown one reminds me of the first (and so far only) animal ive ever seen being born... unfortunatly the mother was carrying twins so he wasnt very healthy... i was the only one there when he took his first steps, i remember visiting him just about everyday... untill a few months later... he past away on my birthday... ironic isnt it? i lost my best little buddy on the day i turned 13...

  • @alex20678 Aww. But at least you helped when you could. It is wonderful when someone helps the helpless for nothing but doing good. That was wonderful o fyou.

  • @TheDesiderataAlpacas Why so much anger? If you are a breeder then you do know that at some points in their lives alpacas have upper teeth (goo dot gl/ZciDQ). I've patted alpacas on the head with no problem. The one time I patted one on the neck it became irritated and didn't like it.

I'm not an alpaca expert. If you reply to this please refrain from yelling and cussing. I would be interested in hearing about your experiences raising alpacas and hope you put up some alpaca videos. Thank you.

  • @yvettegr sorry but this is my other channel and i havent been able to put up any vids due to the lack of a charged video camera but there will be a video of me and my rose grey in a show and i will upload it for u and others to c and i will show u on both of our show alpacas that they have 2 different personalities... So I hope u will be able to watch it

  • @yvettegr Way 2 play it cool man.

  • 5:39 EXTREEEEEMMMMEEEEEE CUTEEENESSSSS :3

  • those are just about the most adorable creatures ever

  • @cutiemaddster225 You should find an alpaca farm near you and go visit them. They're soft (think alpaca sweaters on the hoof), friendly, adorable. You'll want to become an alpaca farmer.

  • Now I know where The Beatles got the idea for thier mop top hair doos

  • Awwwww so cute

  • @MrJerbearz Told ya so. And they' supersoft to pet (but not on the neck). And so friendly once they get over being shy. I want to start an alpaca farm.

  • 1:32 ♥

  • @imjulianaaa Yes. Alpacas are sooooooo cute and friendly.

  • We should not pet it. How about hug it gently when it approaches?

  • @bbsonjohn I'd ask the owner how friendly they are. I've petted them on the head, no problem. Was told not to pet them on the neck. They don't like that. I have had an alpaca put it's head on my shoulder and I petted it's back. They can be very very friendly. In the video that baby one came up and sat right in my lap while I was sitting on the ground.

  • my adorabl meters are off the charts right nwo, and i don't think that will change for a day or two. baby alpacas!

  • ALPACAS: Be prepared for the SPIT

  • @thepaintballer898 They hardly ever spit. Llamas and camels spit (same family as Alpacas). And it's gross when they do. Camels, ugh. It'll cover your face and down the side of your neck and shoulder. I've been spat on by both. Usually alpacas will back away very irritated if you pet them on the neck and will only spit if you're really persistant.

  • @thepaintballer898 they only spit at each other for like social reasons. they got that rep b/c they would take babies away from their social groups and when their hormones kicked in they saw humans as the replacements and would spit at them like they were llamas. thats why that reputation occured but when theyre treated normally they dont spit at people

  • Thank you. They are cute for sure.

  • the ear-move =)

  • awwie! they look like a cute goofy mixture between lambs and llamas XD

  • @helehole And their coat is much softer than a lambs.

  • Spotted you at 7:09. Haha. They're adorable!!

  • @DustBit3 You're right, she did finally notice me, and I was only a few feet away. They are very friendly. But, don't pet them on the neck. They hate that. Top of the head, on the back and sides, okay. But the neck is a no-no.

  • i go horse back riding and they decided to buy 2 alpacas i went to go pet one and it spit on me Dx

  • @christie54444 They do spit, if irritated. But, at least not as much as llamas or camels. You don't want to be spat on by a camel, the glob will cover your face.

  • THEY LOOK LIKE COTTON WITH LEGS, XD,

  • @TheCarolynquiroz Their coats do become very soft sweaters.

  • @yvettegr I want a soft sweater! XD

  • @TheCarolynquiroz Most of these alpaca farms sell their alpaca fiber to craftspeople who then make some of the most spectacular sweater and coats. You should google and find a local craftsperson (support your local artist) and check out their sweaters. An alpaca sweater is warm, and feels wonderful.

  • whoever wrote the play-by-play needs to learn about the animals first. Alpacas do not "tend to have buck teeth". first they have no upper teeth (watch at 7:06. Second, their lower teeth keep growing, which wear down if they are eating rough grass, in the wild, but need to be cut back if they are fed softer hay that doesn't wear them down.

  • 5:41 Lethally adorable! Cutest animal on Earth.

  • Just can't get any cuter. BTW looked at your channel. I'm a huge Stephen Fry fan. He's the best thing on twitter.

  • When I retire to my 5 acres in Indiana someday... I plan to have Alpacas as pets. They are so adorable. Thanks for the video.

  • Invite me over, I'll video them.

They are so cute. Their coat is soft. And, there's lots of money to be made in alpacas. Not difficult to care for. Docile. Now, I want an alpaca farm.

  • oh... then, that is super hilarious;-)

  • I didn't realize I had captured so many yawns until I started editing the videos. I laughed when I started listening to them. They sound so tired and old-manlike.

  • I believe that yawn was a man.

  • Nope that was the alpaca. I was the only one there with the alpacas at this point and I didn't yawn. Actually, I lots of other footage I didn't include, and there are several other yawns in them.

  • AWH there so frekin CUTE:)!

  • Alpacas are amongst the cutest animals on the planet.

  • Sweet alpacas! Thanks for uploading this!

  • i have never seen alpacas, bcoz there is no alpaca in asia.i wanna see them in the future ,they are so cute!

  • i shot won with my air soft gun LOL

  • adorable creatures :)

  • they look like big lambs...

    extremely cute animals

  • But their fleece is so much softer than lamb.

  • OMG the Yawn was SO HILARIOUS!! IT sounded like a man!!! The black ones are funny! The babies are cute! So cute how it hides behind mama!

  • I was so surprised by that yawn. You're right. It sounded human. Even though the cria was hiding behind it's mother, it couldn't resist poking its head around. They are incredibly curious. And friendly. They kept coming up and nudging at me. Some stood behind me and put their heads on my shoulder looking over at what I was doing. Great, great, animals. When I was sitting on the ground, some came over and sat down next to me.

  • That is sweet! They are so friendly!

  • I read their buckteeth are for grazing on the short grasses of the Andes...Amazing creatures!!

  • That's exactly right.

  • Yvette...

    Thanks for this Video!!!

My sister has seriously talked about doing this...my family owns a large piece of land in NH..would be so awesome to create a family compound up there!!

    Thanks again..!

    daniel =)

  • I definitely think you should do this. Then I could visit and photograph it.

  • Beautiful animals. It's amazing how soft their fur is. Great video.

  • Thanks Rene.

I encourage everyone to find an alpaca farm and go visit it. Especially, if you have kids. These animals are gentle, friendly, curious, and fun. And they are incredibly soft to pet.

And a recession proof business. Knitters will always want to buy alpaca yarn. Each baby alpaca born adds $15,000-$20,000 in value to your farm.

  • A little bit of sweetness to start my day. Thanks Yvette.

  • You're welcome.
