  • @Tomahawknutter 110 lb cardstock

  • dude, yeah this guy sounds so depressed. He's like so here's my mark 5 helmet, but it didnt turn out very well. He's my recon, it's.. okay, and my iron man helmet is just disappointing... haha i mean, lighten up. its better than i could have done

  • @madamadam158 I use fiberglass and plastic, I have some fiberglassing tutorials if you want to check some of those out.

  • @microwavabletofoo what kind of plastic? and where can i get fiber glass?

  • @THACHBUI97 I use smoothcast 320 which can be ordered at smooth-on(dot)com. You can get fiberglass cloth and resin at places like walmart, autozone, home depot, etc. but sometimes you need to be 18 or older to buy it.

  • You sound so depressed lol

  • @mryou2ube Sweet, I'd love to see some videos.

  • dude all your pepakura stuff is bad ass- but every single time you say something about it you have something negative to say. Take pride in hat you do bro, your shit is dope and all you have to say is this self loathing bullshit

  • Helmets?

    HELMETS YOU SAY?

You know SHIT about helmets if you don't make a Daft PUnk Helmet. ¬¬

    Oh shit YHES

  • @BluelightSpike I've actually started a Thomas helmet, but I haven't gotten around to finishing it.

  • @microwavabletofoo

    I'm doing one as well.

Sanding Bondo is one hell of a work.

Specially when you use to much of the.. . Umm.. Hardening chemical that comes with it.

  • @BluelightSpike Yeah, you don't need much red cream hardener, just enough to make the bondo slightly change shade.

  • @microwavabletofoo

Mine was blue, it made everything green.

    And it's a Bitch to sand. :D

    However, it's coming out nicely.

When i'm done with it, i'l do a video xD

  • that iron man helmet is better than what i have, can i have that file?

  • @microwavabletofoo thats ok you sent me them (4 files)

  • you sound so disappointed but your halo mark 5 helmet came out better than mine even if you accidentally inverted some pieces. mine turned out to horrible. there were a lot of gaps and what not with the small pieces. those were such a pain in the ass

  • Is that Cardboard or something or illustration board?

  • @asars1234 110 lb cardstock

  • would you recommend buying the Pepakura software ?

  • @danburleton I didn't buy it, I don't create files, I just download and make them.

  • @microwavabletofoo can yo recommend any sites ?

  • @danburleton I just google files

  • @danburleton pepakura is free

  • Keep on going bro, I'm new to this myself but I catch on really fast... As for the smooth cast I heard it's better because it's oder-less and allows you to use it indoors with no fumes to make ya dizzy

  • @teddypandaful Yeah, the smoothcast 320 is the best, it sets extremely fast. It has less of an odor, but still gives off a very faint paint-like fume, but its not that bad, just don't lean into the fumes.

  • The material that you use for remains firm and hard...sorry me, but I do not speak english, i use the translator

  • @theghost077 That you use to stick the mold that you extract of pepakura? Algun plastic or carton?

  • @theghost077 That you use to stick the mold that you extract of pepakura? some plastic or carton?

  • @theghost077 Fiberglass resin and fiberglass mat or cloth. I use smooth-cast 320 now though, which is a liquid plastic.

  • @microwavabletofoo ok thanks you! ^^

  • On that material you stick the paper? It has to be a strong, please answer me because I want to do the same thing

  • @theghost077 The fiberglass on the recon or the gel superglue?

  • dude your helmets are really good but your voice makes me want to kill myself. cheer the fuck up

  • @dominickerley Yeah, this was a while ago XD since then I've done over 30 more peps and I've gotten alot better and a lot more optomistic XD

  • pepakura is so freakin hard! you can never get the helmets perfect. there is always some sort of weird indent or rivits.

  • @analuuui Ironman files? please reply to this in a message including your email and the files you want.

  • That Iron Man helmet is 10x better than the one I tried to make. What file were you using? And was it all numbered??

  • @EazyMeezy1 It is one from Dungbeetle and yes. If you want just send me a message with your email address and which file you want and I can get it to you, the link on the website I got it from is down.

  • what kind of paper did you use? im new to this it looks very fun want to try it out

  • @bombmaker33 110 lb cardstock

  • what a depressing video...

  • that recon one looks ssiiiiickkk

  • The helmet you fiberglassed...how many layers of fiberglass was used? What was the thickness of the sheets used? Could that helmet hold your weight (sitting or standing on the helmet) as it was pictured in the video? Thanks in advance!

  • @TrumpsGold Just one layer of Fiberglass cloth and resin, probably couldnt take my weight. I use alot less resin now and I'm starting to use Smoothcast 310.

  • Damn.. the Mark V is freaking awesome.. I mean I like them all but I love that one.. Where did u find the files for it at??

  • I'm a noob do i fiberglass the inside or outside because i made mine but im confused on how to put the fiberglass on inside or out

  • can you just make them out of paper? (of course still using pepakura)

  • @MySilver24 Bondo brand fiberglass with fiberglass cloth

  • @ghostbullet94 Pepakura means "papercraft" in japanese. It's a program where you can unfold 3D images, print, cut, and glue the tabs together and make the 3d object with paper. I got my files from alot of different sources, but if you're interested send me a message and I'll help get you started =]

  • how long does it take to make an helmet?

  • @xxCocoMadmoisellexx It depends on experience and tools. When I first started I only used scissors and each helmet took about 15 hours. But now I use scissors and an exacto knife after almost a year of experience and I can finish an HD one in 5-6 hours, non HD 2-4 hours.

  • damn the pepakura looks fucking CLEAN! i made the helmet but due to my dumbass roomate, he threw his books into the box it was in....3 hours of work destroyed in an instant

  • @rebelmxgirl D= Thats horrible! You should post that on FML XD

  • @microwavabletofoo thank you, someone who agrees

  • oh, you look sooo confident with your work :p

seriously, i'm making my first helmet, its the recon, i'm more than half done and i haven't messed up once. you suck dude.

  • @fenderdude64 Dude, these were forever ago and I'm sorry that everyone can't be as perfect as you. We all have to start somewhere and this is where I started. I've come a long way since then and I've learned alot. These first models may not be perfect, but I'm proud of them anyway.

  • @fenderdude64 ur a douche liek rly everyone makes mistakes i bet ur gay ass helmet will look rly retarted

  • @skyhaven333 dude, no, it came out, like REALLY good

  • @fenderdude64 Sweet man, glad to hear it. Make sure to make a vid, I wanna see your fiberglassing technique, I'm always looking for improvements.
