Rest in Peace - Czar Nicholas II, Empress Alexandra, Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatina, Maria and Anastasia and Crown Prince Alexie, until the day we all shall meet you xx
No, they haven't. No one knows where Anastasia is. And the whole movie is a total fake, as well the woman that came forward ages ago and said she was Anastasia. DNA says otherwise!
They would like for this to settle the end of the mystery but it's just another cover up. I believe Anastasia lived. Her distant family and nanny identified her at the hospital BUT disowned her after she told them about the money her father still had in the bank, amounting to millions.
@dumaChoHoChiMinh The stupid part is debatable, but not all communists should be labelled Murderous, what happened in soviet Russia was unfortunate, but people who believe everybody should live life as equals in every way should not be treated as if they are the spawn of Satan.
@fabianoasc- in total agreement- i was tempted to buy a book on trotsky just for the pleasure of burning it. i know God must not appreciate hatred- but as catherine the great said- forgiveness is his trade.
@markoconnor20112011 i said i was tempted, not that i did ceromonial burning of books in the middle of fields. it was just a way to express my contempt for the end that the IF faced, not that i would actually jump around a bonfire chanting.
@TunaEars isn't that just the same thing? Having sufficient contempt to burn books is exactly the same as actually burning them, It still amounts to ignorance and fundamentalist hatred.
i'm glad they've found them- in fact, no offence intended, if nastya had lived what hell would she have been tormented by for the rest of her life- she could have very well gone insanse. i'd rather die than see my mother father and siblings be massacred around me. i am glad that they are finally together again. and anyway, people keep saying "nastya and alexei really are dead" but as far as i know i thought they made a statement that they had found mashka and alexei nastya had never been missing
they found them on august 2007..until now they didn't verify them as the children of czar nicholas and czarina alexandra...so that means that they aren't anastasia and alexei..propably they have made the dna test until now (3 years have passed) and they didn't find any genetic connection between them and the czar's family...that means that the mystery isn't solved...
I'm sorry guys. No offense meant so I hope there's none taken, but Anastasia and Alexeis are dead as door nails, and they died in the basement that night.
these Bolsheviks, they are killing america through poisoning us with fluoride and mercury. Americans are aware of whats going on and won't ignore it any longer. The chemicals just make us passive.
Actually the mystery is whether or not Anastasia survived. The two bodies missing out of the 11 killed were the two youngest- Anastasia and Alexei. Either way that is one 20th century mystery solved.
Narration is wrong! Czar did not abdicated "after" Bolshevik revolution. Bolshevik revolution happened 9 month after Czars abdication, with which Bolsheviks had absolutely nothing to do. At the time of Czar's abdication nobody in Russia ever heard of Lenin, Trotzki and Bolsheviks.
To all the people that think that Anastasia and Alexei lived through that night, do you also think that President Kennedy is still"alive". The people that murdered the Czar and his family would have made sure that the entire family was dead. DNA doesn't lie.
@Jane1620 DNA can easily be tainted. People were not there to be able to determine whether they lived through "that" night. President Kennedy died with people that he knew, all around him in Dallas, Texas
@Jane1620 sometimes it's wrong, but you're right. people need to get brains or if they actually have them, use them. 11 soldiers in a crowded basement. no way anybody survived.
Amos 2:1 "Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of E'-dom into lime:""
This is history, for it happened in this century, in 1918 A.D. The Czar of Russia and his family were eliminated, even their bones were packed in lime and disposed of; so even the thought of glorifying them was eliminated
Within Russia, the orthodox church revered God, and gave worship and honor to Him. The Czar, like the king or queen of any nation, has a first duty as the "defender of the faith" of that nation.
The sole reason you have a Bible in your home today is the fact that King James I of England saw that the only way the English speaking world could survive was with the Word of God in each home. He was the defender of the faith of England, and Czar Romanoff was the defender of the faith in Russia (Russian Orthodox Church).
The wrath on Moab (the communists) will come, and God's words are true. God told Amos to write it down 2,300 years before it happened. And it came to pass. Today, we view it as history passively, just as most Christians today view God's other warnings passively
"Anastasia" interestingly means "resurrected" or "the risen" , The tale of her escape created a big mythos in pop culture, Unfortunately it was just a folk story that spread thanks to a impersonator.
Anastasia was very beautiful , No wonder she got posthumous interest.

I was disapointed when they found Alexeis remains I was hoping that maybe he would be alive & be the russian version of King Arthur & take back the Camelot that is Russia
They found her bones and they identified the remains as Anastasia Romanov's. When they shot the family, the women survived 'cause the bullets didn't go through their diamond coursets. So the "guards" went and stabbed them until they were dead.
So there isn't a way she could have escaped, unfortunately. Which also means "Anna Anderson" is NOT Anastasia Romanov.
Anastasia and Alexei lived and died in Gabarevo, small village in Bulgaria!!! They used the names Eleonora Albertova Kruger and Georgi Pavlovich Zhilin. she was teaching maths, geography, history, russian and french for free. Died of heart weakness on 20.07.1954. Alexei died of hymophilia in the 30's. They had no descendants. They never revealed their identity!!!
Noooo..they die with their family in 1918..it´s true..this bones is Alexei and Maria..Anastacia never was missing..they found her in 1991..but they think was Maria..but now found Maria..

Tatiana was rescued, married a British army officer, and lived quietly in the small town of Lydd in Kent England. She died of tubercolosis in 1926 she is buried in Lydd.
What is troubling about this is.. when the first set of remains were found, none of the three skeletons of the daughters were short enough to be Anastasia. She was around 5'2". But they went ahead and buried one of the girls under the Anastasia name. Now the new set of skeletons has been found and that one has been named Maria. They've mixed them up. One should be around 5'2" That one would be Anastasia.
The American forensic expert examined the bones and found that none of the daughters in the first grave were short enough to be the 5'2" Anastasia. But the Russians went ahead and said Anastasia was there, and buried one of the tall female skeletons as Anastasia.
They've mixed the daughters up. I think that's a shame. I think there was a rush to say Anastasia was dead once and for all.
WHAT I THINK HAPPENED.... probably Alexi & Maria played dead when their family was shot, and later tried to escape. But they were caught & shot later, That's why their remains were separated from the rest of their families. All the murders show how "respectful" the Bolshevics were (& are) of human life. Russia is STILL no democracy! Time for a CONSTITUTIONAL CZARDOM, TODAY!!!!! { ; )
No, all of them were shot at once. Bolsheviks wanted not to leave bodies and decided to burn them. They chose Alexei and "Alexandra" (in fact it was Maria - bodies were maimed). Burning of the bodies took to long, so they put this idea away. Alexei and Maria were buried at the site of fireplace separetly from the rest of family
yes that's right. The tragedy is that today Russian government and even church refusing to open the archives and tell the truth. They've got a big reason for that.
Aljezera? Behind the murder of the Russian Czar & his family? Don't be absurd...Aljezera is in the Middle East....probably wasn't even in existence in 1917! RUSSIAN Communists killed the RUSSIAN Czar! They sadly needed no help from anyone else. (This is not to say that fanatical fringes of Aljezera wouldn't be CAPABLE of killing -- anyone...but the historical context & time-frame are all wrong.)
i dont want to know if they survived or not cause if anyone did survive (yes i know alot of people say no one survived) then im sure they wouldnt want anyone to know their wareabouts. and if they are all dead than let them rest in peace
I don't know that any fraud was perpetrated. However, they buried a female under the name Anastasia who was too tall to be Anastasia. Anastasia was only 5'2". The remains buried under her name are too tall and too old to be hers. This is biological fact.
They have done DNA testing on the remains of the Czar, his wife and their children. They not only used the DNA from Prince Philip who is the grandson of Princess Victoria, Alexandra's sister, they also used the DNA from NIcholas's brother.
look into the pcr method of dna testing before you talk. if you test enough possible sets of dna you can tell who's related to who - ESPECIALLY if that family was incest-crazy.
if what you say is true, than the method they used (presumably pcr - it's one of the most accurate methods) could never be used to test for men who doubt that their wives/gfs were loyal.
Are you replying to a comment of mine? I said nothing about anyone being loyal, etc.
I believe it was American forensic expert Dr. William Maples? who studied the remains and said none of them were short or young enough to be Anastasia's. There was not the body of a 17 year old 5'2" woman in the first grave. Yet the Russians buried one under her name.
MajesticalMermaid13, there were rumours that Anastasia survived, which sparked a lot of movies on the matter to be made of this. There were also a lot of people claiming to be Anastasia. Anna Anderson was one of them, However, it was proven that she had no relation to the Romanovs.
So, the sad truth is, as hazelstears said, no one survived. Anastasia died with her family.
It was 90 years ago today they were murdered, and while elsewhere, its ancient history, this is something that is NOT forgotten in Russia! It was an event that was just the beginning of the great sorrow for that nation.
For some reason, the Russians have wanted to squash any evidence that Anastasia could have escaped. William Maples, the American forenscic specialist analyzed the bones originally found, and saw that none of the purported remains were short enough, 5'2" to be Anastasia. Yet the Russians disregarded this fact and named one of the remains Anastasia. Now, here's two more bodies.
If these are all genuine.. the female one they just found should be Anastasia and not Maria.
is it true that swiss police have unearthed evidence in old files that marx was under observation for soliciting school girls? i had heard that he was a pedophile, and now this new evidence... and what about that lenin character and his wife....talk about a grim couple. there wasnt much laughter in that household!
@fabianoasc They are if God runs the heavens the same way as things on Earth, where those who steal and rob the people are sainted while those who make a standard for equality are denounced and persecuted.
Correction to all that believe the fairy tail: Maria is the one that went missing. They determined one of the bodies was Anastasia by a visible deformity on her left foot and by the body of the woman in the burn pile being the body of a young adult- approximately 19-25.

Why does finding there bodies really matter. Let them rest in peace. Viva Russia

It means that the claims of those children who "survived" are now can be proved false. Such as the infamous Anna Anderson case.

@fabianoasc They are if God runs the heavens the same way as things on Earth, where those who steal and rob the people are sainted while those who make a standard for equality are denounced and persecuted.
