Ah Finally! A Video of the Lulz and awesome that was that game. I came as a Actor to this event and had a hell of a good time. Id love to act again and would love to play some rounds as a Security team.. I still remember when the zombies Zurg rushed the team in the small hallway with the bathrooms. It was so packed, It was rape left and right. Getting stepped on and shot. Fun shit. XD
Yes, it is. That was the "cure". Each dart was like a little shot of zombie be gone. If a team member was zombified the others could bring them back with it.
I started each player with 60 rounds. We provided the guns as well. 60 rounds got each player 2 mp5 mags. There were speedloaders in the facility as well as actors with ammo. It was the first game I ever hosted and it changed throughout the 2 days. Originally I was going to alot 1000k per run through (including the 60 per person at the start), but as the weekend progressed it got less and less and ended roughly at 300, Part of the problem was the contantly flucuating # of zombies we had.
At the game I was at it was two real caps per aeg and unlimited gbb mags but you only start with 2 loaded mags oer weapom. We were also allowed unlmited shells for utg multishots, but only two shells loaded untill you find the ammo dump. no speed loaders were allowed.
I was worried about using shells because they are a bit of a bb hog considering any other gun would get three shots for 1 on the shotties. Ideally next time I want to have gun specific mags inside the facility, in the RW unless its the same caliber you cant just swap bbs, so Id like to hide mp5 mags, shot shells etc.
I have all my original ideas and stuff saved in a word document. If you want them send me a pm and Ill hook ya up.
We allowed limb shots to cripple and torso shots to kill. Head shots killed but we discouraged players from shooting the actors in the head. I think next time Ill avoid cripple shots and just allow any hit to drop a zombie. Too many people seeme dot get frusterated with unkillable zombies.
Our 3 shot rule made the multishot so popular but when it came to taking down the nemisis AEGS worked a lot better. Also you couldn't only stun them if you shot a zombie they had to wait 2 minutes before getting up again.
Since we were so short on actors our zombies had a notional count in their head before getting back up, and if the players left the area the zombies would automaticly get back up. Usually the admin (myself) would directly tell the zombies to get up or stay down.
The event was held at an airsoft facility called Portland Tactical Operations Center. It was a business dedicated to hosting CQB free play games. The facility was reserved for this event. It was also the last event ever held there.
i wish i could do this this looks badass

if only you had real guns with blanks and made small explosives with fake blood in them to look like you really shot them... haha

Cool it all worked out though cause we had no cure and it took 3 shots to bring down a zombie.

Weak... it looks so awesome. Reminds me of my CQB field, but a little bit bigger, and more open.
