I love it! Probably my only instrument that I will never trade or sell. It look great in person! I wasn't crazy about the looks of it when I bought it, but it has grown on me. I chose the JM strat because I liked the neck and the tone. I would buy whatever feels good to play and disregard looks.

Anyways, I saw vids of the Fender Vintage hot rod 62 after making the purchase but I still think I made the right choice! Besides, I hate the case that you get with the Hot Rod! lol!

I got the 3TW! Yeah, after seeing it in person its not as vibrant as the photos online! I was expecting it to be darker and the pickup guard to shine!

@geoff1121 I mean im saying Line6's come with so many tones unlike other amps. If there is any advantage of a combo line 6 over any other amp, it's that it comes with so many presets and is very easy to use. Especially for beginners

@iig0tem yup agreed, i cant deny that. but as musicians your taste changes as you progress and as your ears manage to distinguish more sounds. Its like when you first start off you cant really tell the difference between a humbucker and a sc or a valve amp vs a solid state. But the more experiences you have with different equipment, the more anal you become when it comes to creating your own voice(tone) because you simply know better.

@geoff1121 I've played numerous Fender tubes, which are known for having some of the best clean sounds around, and I still prefer my Strat through a Line 6 Spider II. The clean is so bright and nice. However, solid states don't sound nearly as good with distortion/OD pedals as tubes do.

@jamess1282 I've played a Line 6 Spider II and now I have a Fender Blues Junior and the Line 6 easily takes the cake on the clean tone. It's so unbelievably smooth and responsive. Doesn't handle overdrive pedals so nicely, but the clean is just killer.

Benson's seller ID is 808john on eBay. I actually just ordered some bensons that have about 2 more weeks before I get them, but I'll post something once i can. I don't know anyone that builds specifically with those sets, but you could pay a little more for a loaded pickguard and just drop it in an otherwise custom strat. I just do the wiring meself.
