Although I don't watch Fox, or any news channel for that matter, most have not read between the lines in health care reform. I don't believe government should have their hand in health care, because it gives more "monopolized" power to the government and takes power away from the people. As Ronald Reagan stated in the 1960's, if government controls health care, we will be telling our grandchildren how "once America was free." To most it's healthcare, to government, it's gaining "fascist" control
@rcnoe71 I definitly know that my health care is free but its not monopolized like you say it is in the US, The way i believe it works here (in Ontario) is that everyone gets their health card and shows it when they need to use it (or have the number thats on the card) then the government pays whatever medical company you have used, (not everything, like scription drugs etc)
though i can definitly see how it can turn out badly, but then again, i do not like how much money medical insurance costs

Just don't accept additional substances, such as flu shots etc. they contain a lot of mercury. There is nothing they can do to you, that can't be undone, if asked. Did you see, they came out with vaccines that college students can get? The extent they will go through to control mankind. It's shocking. If you are asked if you believe that the healthcare plan is going to lead to a government take over it is your opinion. No one knows if it will or will not. Will it stop care to the elderly? Maybe. There will be a healthcare shortage, so someone will not be getting the care they need.
Oh I'm sorry, since when is MSNBC a reliable news organization? Fox News and MSNBC are both terribly unreliable. Both have been caught altering news footage and pushing falsified statistics. CNN isn't much better either. ALL of them actively add to the "Two Party" problem that's ruining our country.

I find the coverage on MSNBC to be accurate and reliable form what I can tell. but if they are being dishonest I would honestly like to know and take a look at the evidence so I can make up my own mind. That is why i don't trust fox i looked at the evidence that they were dishonest, not because Rachel says so.
@Fireflygamer MSNBC has altered footage of anti Obama protest in the past. One of the biggest examples is when they cut a man open carrying a gun out of the frame and just showed the gun and tried to make it a race issue. They man carrying the gun was black, but they cut most of his body out of the shot so no one could tell. Fox has made up bogus statistics that contradict their own on many occasions.
@oldannyboy37 I know of that one with the black guy carrying a gun, I did my own research after posting, but that was the only one i could really find. now I condemn them for doing it but it people do make mistakes. The mistake not being that the mistook a black guy with a gun to be a white guy with gun, but the fact they decided to lie about it. I suspect that someone working at MSNBC saw fox getting away with doing this stuff so why not do it themselves, it was wrong but not the systematic...

However, "Desperate Housewives" and "American Idol" also have better ratings than C-SPAN but that doesn't mean their viewers actually KNOW anything. You can't just say the bible proves God. The bible has never undergone scientific scrutiny for the sole reason that' it's a myth, like many other religious holy books.

@puttputtking I have read the Bible. It's a useless piece of evidence because it's conjecture. And only certain people believe in it's authenticity. Therefore it's no use in an debate. That's like saying, "The sky is green because my mommy says so." Since only you believe in the authenticity of "mommy" and I don't, your evidence is moot. It should come from a source that is proven and respected universally as an authority. The Bible is not such a source.

Everyone won't be able to get coverage. I'm physically disabled due to a bad reaction with a vaccine. The bill basically says that all elderly and physically and mentally impaired people will be denied coverage, yet they still must pay the tax if they wish to avoid the fine (paraphrased because I don't fell like rereading the 1000+ pages of the bill to get it exact).
From a legal standpoint, it's true that you won't be penalized for not bying government healthcare. If you don't, you just have to give a little extra money to "spread the wealth". In English, that means you pay a fine if you don't buy Obamacare. In conclusion, if everyone wants to make Obama the first Dictator of the United States, they should feel free to do that. I'll just move to Australia :)

The insurance companies aren't death pannels, but I feel your pain. I had a reaction to a vaccination and needed physical therapy, so they payed for about 7 months. We got our lawyer involved, and they cancelled(?) the bills. But that's not a death pannel. A death pannel is a group of bureaucrats that decides what quality of care you get...

Ok. I guess you're right. I forgot about the liberal states. There are some insurance companies that are more-or-less death pannels that charge you a fee. However, you have the option to change insurance providers. If you don't like your current policy, you can change it. The problem with GRHC is you can't change your policy. It's one big universal policy run by the government who has proved with the post service and many other things that they can't run a busisness correctly.

You usually do have a few options. If you don't like any of them, you're stuck. However, if you think the insurance companies are greedy, I wouldn't even think of playing the government's game. As we've seen time and time again, the government doesn't do what's morally right, it does what's politically and/or economically right. That means under the government's care, you would probably get lower quality care than what you're getting now.

I don't believe government should have their hand in health care, because it gives more "monopolized" power to the government and takes power away from the people. As Ronald Reagan stated in the 1960's, if government controls health care, we will be telling our grandchildren how "once America was free." @rcnoe71 I definitly know that my health care is free but its not monopolized like you say it is in the US, The way i believe it works here (in Ontario) is that everyone gets their health card and shows it when they need to use it (or have the number thats on the card) then the government pays whatever medical company you have used, (not everything, like scription drugs etc)

One of the biggest examples is when they cut a man open carrying a gun out of the frame and just showed the gun and tried to make it a race issue. They man carrying the gun was black, but they cut most of his body out of the shot so no one could tell. Fox has made up bogus statistics that contradict their own on many occasions.
MSNBC isn't nearly as bad as FOX though.

That's like saying, "The sky is green because my mommy says so." Since only you believe in the authenticity of "mommy" and I don't, your evidence is moot. It should come from a source that is proven and respected universally as an authority. The Bible is not such a source.

Everyone won't be able to get coverage. I'm physically disabled due to a bad reaction with a vaccine. The bill basically says that all elderly and physically and mentally impaired people will be denied coverage, yet they still must pay the tax if they wish to avoid the fine (paraphrased because I don't fell like rereading the 1000+ pages of the bill to get it exact).

From a legal standpoint, it's true that you won't be penalized for not bying government healthcare. If you don't, you just have to give a little extra money to "spread the wealth". In English, that means you pay a fine if you don't buy Obamacare. In conclusion, if everyone wants to make Obama the first Dictator of the United States, they should feel free to do that. I have back damage too from an accident at work and have been fighting the medical insirance company from work for 2 1/2 years to cover my medical bills and allow me to retrain..no such luck and ive won twice...any change is bette then this crap..the insurance companies ARE THE DEATH PANELS..they decid if you l;ive or die or the quality of life depenig on if their McKinsey & Co or 'Collosus' tell them to deny you forever or offer you a pittance

The insurance companies aren't death pannels, but I feel your pain. I had a reaction to a vaccination and needed physical therapy, so they payed for about 7 months. After that, the bigwig in charge decided that physical therapy was medically unnecessary for me and demanded I pay them back for the past 4 months. We got our lawyer involved, and they cancelled(?) the bills. But that's not a death pannel. A death pannel is a group of bureaucrats that decides what quality of care you get...

I think that before they say physical therapy is medically unnecessary (if I had continued to do it, I might have gotten cured because it was helping tremendously), they should actually go see the patient instead of just making decisions based on finances. There are death pannels today, but they're not the insurance companies, they're the hospital chairpeople. There are many instances where someone needed an expensive treatment, but the hospital cut life support instead.

I had two bones in my spine damaged by a 1400lb sheet of granite, my discs have bulged out and im in pain 24/7 and the company insurance policy said i should have therapy...they paid for one before i had the mris done then when they found out i had the damage they pulled it as id lose the use of my right arm..it took another 2 years to get them back to the table and guess what..they said i need therapy again..4 weeks later and two visits to the ER..they pulled it again..death panels...yes

Ok. I guess you're right. I forgot about the liberal states. There are some insurance companies that are more-or-less death pannels that charge you a fee. However, you have the option to change insurance providers. If you don't like your current policy, you can change it. The problem with GRHC is you can't change your policy. It's one big universal policy run by the government who has proved with the post service and many other things that they can't run a busisness correctly.

You usually do have a few options. If you don't like any of them, you're stuck. However, if you think the insurance companies are greedy, I wouldn't even think of playing the government's game. As we've seen time and time again, the government doesn't do what's morally right, it does what's politically and/or economically right. That means under the government's care, you would probably get lower quality care than what you're getting now.
