Here's another one for the "Come back to YouTube" pile. =3 I've just found your tutorials today and after watching your first few Blender vids, I've learned SO much (THANK YOU for calling out shortcut keys!). The way you explain every single thing that you are doing is so helpful and its something I find a lot of tutorial videos overlook for Blender beginners like me.
I hope that you are well and even if you're not up for another tutorial video, please vlog again, you -are- quite handsome. =3
I'm new to sculpting except for a flower pot i made with sculptypaint for SL. I tryed to get blender working but can't save anything I put Python 2.7.1 and the lates primstar on and in the folder you said. I also added them to the user Preferences but can't get anything to save. could you help me?
Fantastic :) Oh, the Lindens, especially FJ, are talking about using the internal 2.4 client code as the core and providing the 2.X UI as well as the 1.23 UI for builders. Go kick 'em in the jira to remind them :P Also able to create save .dae (COLLADA) files for mesh in SL using Blender, too (yay! Finally).
Newbie to Blender, Thanks for all the Tutorials. Only thing i got hung up on was trying to bend a section of a sculptie. Still trying to figure that out.
Hello. It's good to know you're doing well. I think the user base has sent the Viewer 2 back to the drawing board :) Basically, You're still as up-to-date as everyone else with Viewer 1, Phoenix, Ascentia, or Imprudence viewers. I also see something called "LGG Proxy" as some people's preferred viewer.
I wanted to say 'Awesome!' too. I love your video's. Just found them a week ago and still am working on them. I'd love to a dedicated one on just working on multiple textures on a single prim. Thank you again! - Dewclaws
yay welcome back :) Good to know that you will work with SL 2 :) well.. many users just HATE it :P but with the time it's a very nice viewer (I use it by myself and I'm happy heh)
@Necsha Yup, Emerald is very fast today, but he can try SL 2 then go Emerald, or try Emerald then SL 2 and stay with it :P many peoples - many opinions :P
dude awesome to hear that are back =D love your tutoriasl but why you dont try to use emerald viewer the news are 10 times betters that old 1.23 normal viewer and viewer 2 is messy and laggy as hell try emerald you wont regreat
@Necsha I've used Emerald before, but for now I'm going to relearn the main SL client. I figure that it's possible that more people use it, as Emerald isn't as obviously in existence to some people. Either way, the content creation pipeline shouldn't be too different between the two, unless I'm wrong.

@Dewclaws Hmm...check my videos, I've one called 'Texturing a Single Sculptie with Multiple Materials' which is what I think you're looking for.
