Its Studio music, so you may have heard it in Movies or Tv ads. X-Ray Dog don't do video games to my knowledge. Martin O'Donnell is responsible for the main themes and orchestral aspects of the Halo trilogy.

I have a new computer in a new country so I no longer have the links. Animation is surprisingly hard, I studied it an Uni and im still not very good at it. Slow motion stuff is something I looked into making, the cameras are really expensive although there are a few new ones that are aimed at general consumers.

I have some ideas for rotoscoping sort of stuff. Even though I've been practicing animation using tracing paper and a scanner (to compile), I have a wacom tablet now, so I think I'm going to go for a hand-drawn look, but use digital techniques.

Sounds promising, a lot of 3d software can also render scenes in a 'drawn' look, its quick and doesn't require a lot of work to get pretty good looking stuff. Its good that you draw as well, a lot of people jump into 3d and get upset when they cant make something, but you have to draw it out first, storyboard it and what not. Anyway good luck.

Yeah. The problem with the 3d shaders though is that it's pretty obvious that it's not hand drawn. I like the look and feel of the old cartoon, but i want to do crazy moving cameras too. So I'm thinking of animating 3d figures (not necessarily very detailed, but enough to get proportions and stuff down, then drawing over all of it "by hand" (digitally), so i get effects like in the movie "Heavy Metal 1981" - though cleaner (both in detail and story content ;D )

oh, also, there are cool effects that are easier to draw by hand than animate in 3d, so instead of having to go back and forth between different animating techniques, it would be mostly a two step - 3d (if necessary), then 2d.

No doubt somethings are easier to draw, the easy things can be so hard on computers. Poser 7 which is an 'average' program to say the least can still do decent 'sketch' renders that look hand drawn, maybe download a trial see if does what you want, if you want the 3d models for referencing stay away from Maya and Lightwave, they get really complicated without much trying.

Well most of these vids arent from youtube, just from sites that offer them in normal video formats, however if you want to download of youtube, grab orbitdownloader, it works a charm.

Also stay away from windows movie maker unless you compilation is small, if it gets big WMM will pig out on your resources and freeze your comp.
