  • I love this song, it just makes me wanta shout! Thank God my journey is almost done and the blissful shore I will see.

  • and why i am born in 1995?

  • The movie he mentions is Mr Horn, screenplay by William Goldman imdb.com/title/tt0079582/

  • I think JLL's version is the best one. He worked on each word to get it right. Music is superb.

  • Wh ether u like him or not u can not deny his gifts God gave him. He is the greatest piano player ever

  • Great gospel singer.probably oneof the greatest

  • Totally love JLL and this rendition is truly one to share with my friends.

  • He is the greatest rock in roller hillbilly country star showman ever So unique,so talented,so misunderstood.. Sang his buttt off and the way he played those ivories, who can compare to him when you look at the total package .l

  • First time I heard JLL sing this one,it's great ! so much fun to sing and to hear many different versions of "Life's Railway to heaven" God Bless !!!!!!!

  • I heard Him play this live at a county fair in

southaven Mississippi. It was in 2007 or close. He seens to sing this song better as he ages. He did a materfull job and the best i ever heard sing it,

  • This is one of my favorite songs by JLL. Jimmy Swaggert;s? The way he always wanted Jerry to quit his career, turns me off. God gives us tallent as He sees fit. We need not hide it under a bush. It is to share with others.

  • remember this way back, still brings a lump to the throat

  • Will agree...Jimmy Swaggart does do a good job on this song......yet disagree that he can do it better than JLL......just watch JLL' fingers in this song...Boogie Woogie.....

  • the killer is awesome!!!!!!!

  • As good as The Killer is, his cousin Jimmy Swaggart does this particular song better.

  • @ingenuitas Where might one find a copy of that performance? I am interested.

  • Wow!! Go Jerry! Love it!!

  • the killer rules!

  • I think this the best show Jerry Lee did in his whole life. He´s Rock and Roll and he plays it like it have to be.Off course he´s still the king of country

  • Did he sing this before or after he hit his wife?

  • @cherylclair Who gives a shit?

  • @cherylclair ~ Did she deserve it before or after? No matter. Besides, an ounce of prevention, is worth a pound of manure! haha!!! - Now, go spank yourself ..you Dizzy Lil' Brat!!

  • There is no one or ever will be as good as JLL !! I've heard many versions of this song, but none to compare with this rendition. Is there any way to purchase a copy of it? Thank you.

  • @EUGENIE1111 It's only available in VHS, maybe you can find it in amazon or ebay.

  • I still have this full show on Betamax video. Probably his best one. At

least it contains Jerry Lee's best piano solo ever!!!!

  • Elvis, schmelvis. Jerry Lee was, is, and always will be, "the King".

  • Great rendition of a wonderful song! Makes me want to pull that mandolin back out. Thumbs up to Jerry Lee!

  • Mr. Horn? As in Tom Horn, done by Steve McQueen and not David Carradine. Must be another version of the same story maybe.

  • Two movies made about Tom Horn, one by Carradine, one by McQueen.

  • I love how he adds that bit of flair to any song. Inspirational!

  • Brilliant!

  • Thanks for the singing and piano playing! You are truly an inspiration!

  • This guy is amazing! Love his music!

  • Love it Jerry Lee!!

  • JLL you are the best and an inspriation to me for over 50 years. God Bless You and the joy you have brought to thr World. JHM

  • David Carradine should have listened a little more closely to this song.

  • that was a shock to me,the way he died..but i'm not his judge...

  • precious memories--brings tears to my eyes--thanks JLL

  • great song!!

  • Thanks Jerry. Great job on this great old song. Brings back a lot of happy memories for me. Doug

  • UNBELIEVABLE

  • Anybody ever heard of Wayne Joiner? I saw him about 20 years ago. He tore this song up so bad if he had not been singing, nobody would have known what he was playing.

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • loved this song out the night the lights went out in geogia but this is the best version.

  • Can you buy this in DVD anywhere? Has it been released? I want a copy of it.

  • It's only available in VHS, it hasn't been released officialy in DVD.
