  • poor little thing!

  • I would rather ride a horse.

  • When i ride cows i make it buck

  • lovely ass on the cow

  • That looks like a gorgeous part of the world

  • AT EVERYONE SAYIN THIS COW IF JUST A CALF:this breed of cow is actually very small compared to normal cows, Dexter`s are popular with meat because they are 60 % meat, when the common cow is only 50% meat, plus, it is smaller so it eats less, cutting feed and hay costs in half :)

  • the cow is very YOUNG

  • you little whore

  • do u guys feed this poor cow? it looks so skinney. lioke srsly ot doesnt want ppl on it! stop trying to make it walk.

  • its so sad that stupid people ride on cow's and everything! go on a pony . that poor cow!

  • I live at a farm, and know much about it. though you dont need to know much, to see that this aint a cow, its a calf!

  • ihr wisst schon , das ihr den Rücken von dem Kalb kaputt macht ? ;)

    dumm , einfach nur dumm.

  • Awesome cow noise at 0:28

  • would they be strong enough to ride? i live on a farm were we breed full sized cattle, and i was just wondeing if an av. weight 13 year old would be able 2 'fit' onto one of them? (a light 13 year old)???

  • @doglover598 Cows actually have a better back and bone structure for riding than horses, horses are faster so we decided to ride them and eat cows, cows are pissed.

  • dudes none you live on a farm or own these cows there not fucking calves there dexters so dont stay stuff you dont know nothing about!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @xXJAZZYJASPERXx looks more like a Limousin to me, and yeh it is a calf looks about 6-8 months old, so as for your comment looks like you dont know to much either!!!!, only looks cruel cuz your not used to seeing someone riding a calf/cow, may shock you but some cattle are used to plough and pull carts in some country's, girl looks light enough calf more interested in tip bits its getting than the rider.

  • Very very very very very cruel.

  • People are saying how young this cow is. But Dexters are naturally small, though very sturdy and strong. They're only hip-height when full grown. How old is this cow really?

  • it is very skinny like my horses was

  • RIDE!

  • i know boy who ride cow.

    it is very cruel

  • dude, i have those boots

  • To all those who are claiming imminent dire injury .The heifer weighs about 400-500 pounds. She can handle an extra 60 pounds or so for 50 yards.

  • that cow looks to young to ride... ur going to damage his(?) back.

  • are you sick?

  • Your going to break the poor calfs back! He is way to young its not fair for him

  • Beautiful position. You should try that on a horse XD

  • FodderSolutions. NET ... feed all animals, + grass juice. cow water... kangen4pets. com/pages/radio. html has testimony of cows giving 28% more & sweeter milk. While these units are to small. The SHERATON DELFINA hotel in Santa Monica, CA. Has a 10,000$ unit that supplies so much alkaline (drinking)& acidic (cleaning) water. The ENTIRE hotel is cleaned in the acidic water and NO chemicals are ever used... = no injury to people, property, or planet.

  • This "cow" isn't ready to get someone on her/his back! It's TOO YOUNG!

You can destroy (?) heir back, with riding.

  • Is he for sale?

    6 thousand $?

  • thats nean its a calf you could break its bsck because its bones arent propaly developed i know ive got cows myself

  • this is a calf, this can do so much damage to the cows muscles & bones if they arent developed proplerly...

  • Thats a baby, you would damage its back.

  • wish my hereford calf would do this!

  • Fuck!, fuck, fuck, fuck. Goddamn it. Fuck, fuck. Until when are animals going to suffer at the hands of maggot humans? Shit. This is fucking wrong. That little fucking blond bitch on top of that poor animal should be instead on top of big fucking cock and riding it. And I don't give a fuck who's gonna fucking disagree with me on that one. Fuck you if you do. What about the rights of animals, eh?Fuck, I swear, I'd see that shit, I'd push that bitch down in a heart beat. Poor little animal.

  • no guys,the cow isn't young....it is a dexter,and dexter's are mini cows (trust me...we have 3 dexters!)lovely little cows,very fast learners :D

  • Leuk hoor. maar ik zal het niet te vaak doen, dat is slecht voor zijn hoefjes

  • Its a baby !!!

  • Remember, the calf is Irish. And awesome

  • @AzeezaLover This 'calf' is alot bigger and stronger than you think, and with the girl riding it (who is quite small and i assume quite light in weight), it would bearly feel it. They can handle alot of weight and are used for draughting and crop work, so this is nothing.

    Thanks!

  • FYI ... This is a Dexter breed. She's not as young as she looks just judging by her size. Mainstream breeds are this big in only a few months, but this girl looks older & bigger than my 18 month old Dexter bull.

It's fine, don't sweat it. This cow will get better treatment her whole life than most cows ever get. Kudos for training her for riding.

  • this is what rodeos needs to do is train cows to be ridden like owners train horses to be ridden and do shows.

  • 57 (dislikes) are radical left wing, cud chewing sissies...

  • u cant ride a calf; it's painful for it's back. Seriously, this is kind of hurting the poor calf. And it's extremely young, so u can easily get hurt if it does something unexpected. Please stop riding this calf or ANY BABY ANIMAL!

    Thanks!

  • stupid ass bitch thinking she's all that

  • Do you do the shoot at later time?

  • BIEDACTWO!!!!!!!!!!! I LUDZKA GŁUPOTA!

  • my name is Rosie so i am a coww!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Where did you get those reins? Thanks...I need shorter ones...you've just inspired me..lol :D

  • I always wanted to try and ride a cow :D plus it's okay to ride them A long time ago people use to ride them too :3

  • A lot of people who've commented on this need to chill.

The cow's young but the girl is very light and look how gentle they're being with it.

  • The cow is very young!!!

  • @LatiOfHorses23 No it isnt. its a DEXTER cow. They were bred to be small.

  • how did you teach your cow to do this??

  • @TrustSnape242 It easy. You can't be scared to get dirty and it takes a little pain with some cows. Just google it. Its worth it though.

  • That's cool. You should come ride our 2500lb Angus bull. It should be ok. He's too fat and tame to do anything. LoL :D

  • i would demonstrate too

  • wow, thats neat, i didnt think cows like being ridden

  • I dont know much about cattle as of yet, so I dont really know how to react to this, but I'm guessing that this is bad? I dont really know.

  • @StefyStuff In theory, yes. If she keeps it up, yes.

  • @SarGuidotti oh.

  • wow ur too big for that little cow and saying step up didnt make a difference, the peron pulling the cow did

  • Honestly, I don't know why people post videos. No matter the topic, all you'll get is ignorant, stupid, self-righteous comments, and boorish judgments, mostly from proponents of moral relativism and politically correctness (and they dare to call Xstians "hypocrites"!) Yeah, we can see how that's working out. Almost none of you know a thing about livestock of ANY type (u probably think they grow on trees), so just shut the Eff up, we're sick of hearing from you.

  • Have any of you actually done any research? I'd say the real idiots are those who haven't. I am considering getting one when i have a place with considerable amount of grass and having it as a companion/family pet. Done the research. Dexter cows are the smallest breed of cow in the world. That cow looks of considerable age. Males stand a maximum of 44 inches. Yeah, you get the idea. So lay off her, I'd probably ride mine too while taking it for a walk around town, and i'm only 116 pounds. >.>

  • I really doubt the calf is in pain. If he was he wouldnt walk forward, she looks barely 110. If she made it run for hours with her on him, then yes. Other wise, hes fine for alittle walk.

  • This calf would wieght atleast 200 kilo's so I think this chick can ride it. Your all just judging half of you wouldnt even know the difference between a cow, heifer, steer and bull.

  • i have to disagree with your description. herefords are the most versatile breed, but nobody gives them any credit

  • That actually looks really painful because cows are so boney :P lol

  • Beautiful cow, he looks fine. but maybe too young to be ridden ?

  • If the cow didnt fall over.. Obv she is fine.. geta grip ppls

  • Half these people have no idea what a farm is let alone a fucking cow. That girl is not fully grown yet either...it evens out. If it was a 300 pound women on there then YES you can bitch, however it is not. The cow is fine for christ sake. Do some research before you bitch.

  • that cow is fine. Seriously, people...

  • The cow is not even a adult cow yet still a calf that's cruelty to animals

  • The cow is big enought to have a 60 pound girl hop on, dorks. There are people all over the world riding full sized trained cows for fun. Just chill out. Is it better to ride it, or turn it into a veal chop?

  • poor cow.

    dumb child!

and the man who leads the cow is too!

  • Cute little cow :) Where do you live? It looks and sounds wonderful...

  • if the cow was in real pain it would have done what ever it could to get the pain away in other words get the girl off her back

  • Sick.

  • Cows spine, pelvis and back legs are exactly the same shape, versatility and type as a horses. I go to college at an agricultural college doing an equine course and down at the farm we have a cow called Daisy that is ridden. You can walk trot canter gallop and jump cows, plus they also mature faster than horses. It's like telling people not to ride racehorses because they are young, racehorses are raced as two year olds, SURELY THATS WAY TO YOUNG AND DANGEROUS TOO!

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Your racehorse reference doesn't help prove your point .Two year-olds are not done growing yet. That's why there's so many OTTB's with injuries that render them practically useless, other than dog meat. I don't think anybody is refuting the fact that you can ride a cow, just that in general, most cows can't handle being ridden the way most horses are ridden. Sure, they have the same bones as a horse, but they're not put together the same. Weight is not distributed the same.

  • @SarGuidotti That is why you build up muscle tone s girl probably is very light. My racehorse was raced at a very young age and was raced up until he was 11. He also snapped his pelvis in half. He is recovered and is now going to start jumping again. Horses and cattle are very versatile creatures and if this cow didn't want this kid on her she would of slung her off, every cow knows how to do that as it is how to get a predator off that is going for a killing bite.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx

off the subject have you ever heard of biochar(dot)org.

as a smart college stutent what do you think about it?

would dexter cow manure work? just like regular cow manure.

  • @mciceteade I'm sure most manure doesn't differ alot, it's like saying would welsh pony poo work just as well as thoroughbreds. I honestly didn't get that website, I have my first certificate and diploma in horticulture but we did organic growing with normal soil, just a down to earth kinda course. I just left the website lol was rather confusing.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx couldn't agree more with your comment!! :D

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx it is. I agree with you. I wish they wouldn't race horses until they were 4-6.... at least they've finished developing and filling out for the most part.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx

horse racing is a bad example .The horses are way too young.

  • @OutdoorDreamer733 Not if they are trained properly, most horses are backed and ridden at two years old, sure of course it will damage them if they are pumped fulla steriods and raced their bollocks off, but some trainers train them correctly and it doesn't bother them.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Right- Zenyatta is a great example. Unfortunetly, most people do not like to wait, and start the horses at 1-2 years of age. Their knees are closing at this time and running them as hard as they do can, and will damage them forever. I have seen many many rescued TB.

  • @OutdoorDreamer733 I have an ex steeplechaser, his legs are covered with splints and he has seen a few years of abuse, but when he came to my boss it all stopped and he loved life and his racing, though now being an ex racer if the alarm goes off next door it sounds like a starting gate his head will go up ears forwards and we are OFF and I have to wait until he has decided that he has 'won the race' so I can pull him up. Mustangs, QHs, GVs, most native breeds and tbs are all backed at 2.

  • hell this doesnt show the versatility of a certain breed. I taught a holstein heifer how to pull a cart...without someone leading her...or with treats. Don't talk up a breed unless theres actually something to talk about. Cute little boogar tho and cute vid. Dont get me wrong looks fun lol and I'm glad to see kids having fun with cattle. BTW, I am a veterinary student and a lifelong dairy farmer. That calf is fine she's not hurting it.

  • Apparently a cows back is better suited to weight than a horses so...what's the fuss about?

  • poor little calf are you dummp !!! turn off this

  • sheesh give it a rest guys. does it look like the cow is in pain? no, it doesnt. bloomin hec!

  • also, im pretty sure it would have thrown her off if it had a real problem with her being one there dont ya think?

  • Теленок же совсем маленький, это вредно для его спины. Да и девчонке неудобно - острый у него хребет больно. А вообще прикольно!

  • all you people writing these comments are really, really, really, stupid, fucking morons, its a fucking cow, you eat hamburgers right, the cow will be fine, and when it gets older, it will be a nice juicy burger.

  • Oh god people, the cow is perfectly fine. The thing barely noticed that the girl was there.

  • the cows back isnt swagging and its a dexter cow which means its gonna be small as an adult

  • Im sure this girl is very light anyhow. So just give it a rest. There just having some fun the cow is not in any pain at all probly just didnt want to get riddin thats all.

  • I am afraid of cows.

  • Poor, YOUNG, DELICATE calf, with a fragile back.. I hope you're happy when you put a 100lb person on it when it's older and it collapses on you.

  • This transport is oo expensive every fime meters you have to pay it you will end poor if use it to go to school for example.

  • awww u two r cute the girl and cow

  • ^ kinda agree with these gyes sorry .. but you do have to admit its pretty funny riding a cow :)

  • thats realllyyy horribleee poor cow but you r reallyy prettyy!

  • wow i love this

    more please

  • First, I apologize for not researching exactly what a "Dexter" cow is.

Second, I'd prefer it if didn't play the 'name game'... because if I'm a 'freak' that would make you a 'Nazi, but like I said, let's be nice.

Finally, by your logic, that is, regardless of age, BECAUSE it is a cow, it can hold any amount of weight?

Do you see the fallacy of your argument?

  • the girl is so light that she can ride anybody, even i m ready to b ridden by her!

  • the girl is so light that she can ride anybody, even i m ready to b ridden by her!

  • This is adorable, and you people griping about cow's backs..... do your research this cow would have gotten her off if it was in pain go complain about animal abuse on a video where people are ACTUALLY hurting animals like kicking them, neglecting them, hitting them with whips viciously.... lol and if this is a beef cattle, hello! She's going to get turned into your steak!

  • @Justasam You're an idiot. Cows aren't MEANT to be ridden. This is wrong. No matter how LIGHT the person IS on the cow. It still isn't right. And, you don't eat EVERY cow in the world. Geez.

  • hey you ppl with issues my friends had dexters THEY DO NOT GET BIG !!! this is a adult cow !!! She seems to be fine with the girl on her back .if she was hurting do you think she would be walking down the road ??? You can train them to pull a little one person buggy and you can train them to do tricks so why not ride ?? Geez we ride horses why not cows ?

  • du soltest noch ein jahr warten, befor du sie reitest, das schadet der wirbelsäule...

  • Thats bad.

  • Oh, you are so "cool" riding a calf!!!!! Get a life!

  • This is not a calf!! Dexters don't get bigger than 34-42 inches tall, and this girl is only about 1/3 the weight of this cow! She'll be fine!

  • Sorry but thats wrong you riding a calf, its like us sitting on your back when your a baby !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats not a calf. its fully grown. Dexter cattle dont get much bigger than that.

  • wie sünde, die ist total mager !!! :@

  • Just saying if she doesnt ride it everyday for hours one end, the heifer will be fine. and you can tell it is not bothering the heifer so, that means it is not hurting her.

  • That's a sin it's too young to have weight on it's back . Just because the calf is allowing you to ride it doesn't mean it won't do damage to it's back when it's older .

  • @kac1717

A sin??!??! wtf are you talking about? this has nothing to do with religion

  • @TrampOllen haha you are such a dumbass, and i wasn't bringing religion into this ! I was saying that it was mean to put weight on calf because it could possibly hurt it's back in the future . And "a sin", means that's "mean" If that's what confused your ignornant self . I hope you know what ignornant means .

  • awkk, thats adorable :D where did you get it??

  • We have a 10 month old calf that we ride but we dont ride it for very long so she wont be hurt!! If she didnt want us on her we would be on the ground in a heartbeat, trust me

  • omg, watch the calfs back! its too young ti be ridden!!

  • It's like you want the calf to have chronic back soreness when its older.

    How thoughtful of you.

  • @SarGuidotti You're full of shit!

  • @mandtconstruct At least when I insult someone on youtube, I do them the decency of telling them WHY.

This is what's wrong with the internet. Everyone becomes a fucking expert.

  • @SarGuidotti

Everything is wrong with the Internet.

  • @HenkRobben I don't know if you are agreeing with me or not, but I totally agree with on that. Regretfully, I am still a sheep in the flock.

  • @SarGuidotti ...that's about as big as dexter cows get. benighted prick.

  • @bsn0730 Good vocabulary. But are you suggesting that the smaller the cow, the more weight it can hold?

    Cheers, Sara

  • eh he is not too young to be ridden nd how is he a calf???? seriously people cows dont grow that tall

  • wie kann man das einem kalb bloß antun??? das arme kalb!! man müsste echt nen tierschutzverband anrufen. mit ner älteren kuh ok, aber man reitet ja auch kein fohlen, oder?? sorry, aber das ist echt zum kot***

  • Seems cows are more tolerant of people on their backs, initially.

  • @smoothbaby12 if she was hurting it why would that person let her ride her cow. I would not let anyone ride my cow if I knew it would hurt it. And she has to know, I mean who would own a cow and not know anything about it.

  • isn't that cow way to young to go ride it? if she is, you could really do some serious damage to her back, if she's not, then I didn't say anything

  • @SmoothieBaby12 yeah I agree, I know it easier to train them when they are young but not that young.

  • I wanna teach my cow how to jump like a horse xD

He likes to 'Trot' poles. Dreams may come true :P

  • omg!! so awesome!! how old is the she? shes adorable!

  • @HorsePower1242202

omg!!! you're an idiot. The poor animal is too young to be carrying weight and will be real fucking adorbable when its crippled.

  • @SarGuidotti what is wrong with you? you look at it like the person riding it is like 200 pounds or something. that girls looks like she is about 90 maybe 100 pounds.

that COW is just fine. and plus it is probly a teen cow. COWS DON'T GET THAT BIG!

  • @jukka2311 Cows/horses should only carry a 1/3 of their own weight on their back. Cows, especially dwarfs/adolescents shown in the video, are not built to carry weight, they don't have the top-line horses have and their knees are too short and cannot sustain additional weight for long periods of time.

What is wrong with me? I'm just an educated person disgusted with ignorant assholes like you.

  • @SarGuidotti Oh, and judging by the amount of thumbs up I got from my comments, I'm not the only person here who sees something wrong with this.

    Just throwing that out there.

  • @SarGuidotti Too young? You are so uneducated. In the description it explains that this is a Dexter cow. NOT a calf you freak.

  • @SarGuidotti This cow is not young. It's an Irish Dexter cow which is a MINIATURE cow. It's not going to get any bigger! It's an adult miniature cow. People ride miniature horses don't they? The cow is fine. Do your research before you assume. kthnx. ;D

  • @FueledByDeisel Correction, small children ride miniature horses

  • @ZepRidesItRight That's true, but so do older children. I'm 17, weigh 130 and I hop on our large mini once in a while, just to ride around for a few minutes to warm him up for my brother who is 10. Our mini is a large mini but still smaller than this cow. He is not super thick either, he's a show driving/riding mini from very refined bloodlines. He is perfectly fine with me on his back for a short amount of time, same thing for the cow.

  • @FueledByDeisel They are doing this to show how versatile the dexter cattle breed is. They most likely do not ride this cow all the time, and if they do then they probably only ride it lightly like I do with our mini. Let's not assume the worst here please.

  • @ZepRidesItRight Small adults can ride them too. I ride one occasionally, he is very thick and tall but still a mini, not a pony. They are fine to ride for a few minutes once in a while so long as you are not huge, it's not a mare in foal, and you can realy sit that tiny bouncy trot well. We ride ours just for fun for maybe 5-10 minutes like... once or twice a month if that. And he loves it! He doesn't have anything to do otherwise so we are giving him a job that he loves when we do ride him!

  • @SarGuidotti

i think you missed the point that you are obviousely not an expert if you can mistake this mature mini for a calf thats too young and not qualified to really dicate what would be the appropriate and humaine amount of weight this animal can take. form this short little video the cow isnt showing signs of distress or a significant amount of difficulty to move with the girl on its back. the animal does seem bigger than most miniature horses and thus fair to speculate that the animal

  • can take the weight. infact there are alot of things we can speculate on. 1) the owner of this animal probably spent a lot of money to buy or breed this animal, and care for the animal.... and it may be safe to assume that most owners dont go out of their way to damage their pets. 2) the owners have experience and expertise with the breed and know, better than you, what this animal can take. 3) the animal doesnt not appear to be struggling or showing any signs of distress.

  • with all this said, you have little room to say anything. keep in mind, im the kind of person who would argue that riding on the back of any animal should be considered cruel, no batter how big/small or young/old it may be. the only thing i can really say about this video is that maybe there should be a saddle to make the ride a bit more confortable for both the rider and animal. but if this is just a quick test ride for a short distance, im not interested in making a stink about it.

  • @Bigpussycat5 You see, Bigpussy, Horses should only carry 20% or roughly 1/3 of their own body weight, this is standard and accepted by professional equestrian trainers. With that said, a cow's weakest spot, much like a horse, is their back, however, horses are stronger they have what is called a "top-line", this when developed properly, protects them (essentially). Cows do not have this. They have weaker backs, shorter legs that cannot withstand much weight.

  • @Bigpussycat5 The were NOT breed to be ridden like horses. They were breed to either produce copious amounts of milk or to have the biggest rib-eye steak. And as far as cruelty? Do you think most cruelty cases happen over night? Or over a long period of time? That cow will not turn up with lame tomorrow, but getting ridden like that everyday he might end up with a bad case of sway back in 5 years.

BigPussy, stop now, the BIG KIDS ARE TALKING.

    cheers, Sara

  • for someone who talks a good game about fallacy you sure dont know when you are making them.

"The were NOT breed to be ridden like horses." that doesnt mean they wouldnt make them good for riding, just because they were not breed for that purpose.

"That cow will not turn up with lame tomorrow, but getting ridden like that everyday he might end up with a bad case of sway back in 5 years."

basing this clame on what exactly? dont get me wrong, im not trying to say you are wrong but

  • you are gonna have to back up your claims with something. is there something special about a cow that makes it incapable of carrying a managable load on its back that would make it worthy of special consideration over a standard sized horse, appart from the fact you think the animal is too damn cute?

  • People also raise these animals for food. IMO, i would find that a bit more disturbing if i were someone who accepted the idea that an animal is too adorable to be treated in a certain manner. I would be more comfortable with owners treat these animals as pets by ride them, take care of them, and develop an emotional attachement that would make them a little more empathetic towards the animals' suffering rather than people raising the animals as livestock for food.

  • @Bigpussycat5 And I apologize, your stat was real. But you're using it as an excuse. ANd I never disagreed that the majority of the world is illiterate. But the way you wrote your stat is confusing. I'm a copy editor and I fix weird/confusing sentence structure all the time. If you're not careful, and since people are not in your head, they will probably read it wrong, thus taking you less seriously.

  • @Bigpussycat5 Bigpussy. Bigpussy. You are a lost cause. Do you understand what selective breeding is? Sure you can ride it, but it does not mean you should (for the exact same reason I mentioned above that you clearly don't understand). And I base my claims on experiences I have witnessed and read about--research. I'm not making this up, dude, Bigpussy. It's called gravity, wear and tear--the cow's anatomy--where are the weak spots...

  • @Bigpussycat5 Look at a cow. Look at a horse. Horses were breed to improve their conformation for riding/driving--helping them carry weight more efficiently. Cows were not. Of course, there are always exceptions. But cows are not built for riding. Look at their knees. People shun horses with knees like that, why? They're more prone to damage--they're weaker (It's called calf-kneed, look it up). If people try to breed out these traits in horses, why would the cow itself be okay to ride?

  • @SarGuidotti

Ok, so you like research. great. you look at a horse and a cow and noticed they dont look alike. great!! we are talking about the ethics of riding a cow as suppose to a horse. I'm not talking about efficiency in the sense that maybe a horse might be a better choice for riding if efficiency is what someone is looking for. but riding a cow as a novelty. what is it about a cow that makes it MORE unethical to ride. what evidence do you have that

  • demonstrates that a cow should not be ridden. but cause i know for sure cows, along with horses, have been used for pulling loads. would you argue that this is also a problem too because cows are not built to efficiency pull loads? lol. hell, people ride elephants too. so would you call it inefficient to ride a elephant because they were not bred for that? also you talk about efficiency. efficient in what way? how much a horse can carry? how fast they can carry it? how long they can carry it

  • ? you really havent made your case for why a cow is bad to ride, just that it may be more efficient to pick a horse if efficienc
