  • Hey Hindustanipathan. You are an idiot. Shell is owned by the Dutch! (60%) and pretty soon is going to be 100% owned by the British. So why not quit hating on America just because it's popular.....bitch!

  • Did you forget about Exxon?

  • There goes Iraqi oil to the US at the expense of close to a mullion murdered Iraqis.the hell with those dress wearing coward, eunuch fags from the GULF STATES who didn'yt even help their Iraqi brothers or Plestinians...

  • millions of innocent iraqi souls are dead!!!

    WHY?...........illuminati ordered "BUSH"

    WHO do?........US troops ("BUSH")

  • earlier post 30 Billion nt million.

  • Um, Shell is owned by Royal Dutch Shell based in the Netherlands and the U.K..As far as I know all the oil contracts are Europe based.Good try with the propaganda though people.

  • I starting to believe the conspiracies

Bush's family involved in oil business, they dicide to come over Iraq, they staging terror atack to prepare public opinion - and invade iraq for stupid accusations

    Who makes profit of that?

Weapon industris - the greatest lobby in washington

Bush and his sponsers - from Iraq's nature resources

So if what the government tell us doesn't make sense, and what the conspiracy tehorist says make perfectly sense, who should i believe?...

  • america is the WORLDS biggest TERRORIST!

  • I feel sorry for the U.S. soldiers who found that out the hard way. Imagine, you got your legs blown off and now you realize it was all for SHELL OIL.

    ahkmar akhmar\

    jackass

  • I think this is good news for Iraq and their economy. :)

  • usa=terrorist

  • Pumping oil for free is the least they can do.

  • This is the OFFICIAL contract for the next few years, but what the hell are they doing after the victory in 2004? As far as I know the major role of blackwater was to act as bodyguards for Oil companies like shell in Iraq...

Well, it may be just my guess, but were they just pumping up oil for Free in these 4 years?

  • arghhhh!!!

well well well, so it was about OIL!!!!

    fucking bastards!

AMERICA deserves the title of the most hated nation in the world

america is the WORLDS biggest TERRORIST! and the main threat the WORLD!!!

dont be fooled to think otherwise

  • I agree with you, another thing that people don't know is that Sadam was going to sell his oil in Euro's and that's when America stepped in with the WMD excuse to go in direct for the oil! killing Sadam was a bonus.

  • killing a million PEOPLE!!!

1/5 the same number of jews that died in the holocuast!

thats the official figure, it could be way higher!!

    FUCK the states

  • ONE MILLION DEAD!! ONE MILLION DEAD!! vfONE MILLION DEAD!! ffONE MILLION DEAD!!

  • o.k., so capital punishment is over, capitalism and nationalism are not, everyone hates the new oil deal, and everyone hates war.

  • basil

  • Capital punishment.

If not, the war will move here to the states.

  • Oh America does not see that all this war going on is so the US dollar does not fall.

Petrol dollars rules and controls the US economy. The Middle East oil provider wants to sell oil in ERUOS not dollars. So the US has to use military force to stop them from selling in Euros because it will collapse the US economy. British and American does not want to buy in Euros. All this go back to the federal reserve bank.

  • iraqi people have no think and thay have just war

  • well it looks like he truth is here in the open now

  • Iraq stands to prosper from this arrangement. We are talking about a resource that they are currently burning because they do not have the technology in place to even use it. So why not share it with someone who is willing to spend the billions required to make it an actual resource for the country?

So long as Iraq controls 51% of the business they will be in charge of the resource, they are just required to share profits with an investor.

    It's good business.

  • Rule No 1: Do not let multi-national companies rule your resources. They will only plunder and keep you under. This will never be a win situation for the people of Iraq. They will forever live a hand-to-mouth existence.

Rule No 2: Don't be tempted by false riches.

  • Capital punishment is the only way.

  • The whole iraq war, starting with bush senior, including clinton, and including w. bush, is the modern day Nazi party. There are no other options.

  • Bush, his whole administration, the soldiers, and everyone who worked/works for those American companies in Iraq should all be sentenced to death.

There is no other option. Millions are dead because of Clinton and both Bushes and their employees. They are directly responsible, and they should and must be sentenced accordingly.

  • bush and his zionist fuck buddy's need to get lynched asap!

  • If they're not all sentenced to death, the conflict is gonna drag on for another 500 years.

  • They are the modern day Nazis.

  • Bush, his whole administration, the soldiers, and everyone who worked/works for those American companies in Iraq should all be sentenced to death.

  • Everyone should just dump the dollar altogether.

  • Americans want to pretend that nothing ever happened, and that they are the victim, and they never want to hold any accountability. They act like they don't know what to do. I'm sick and tired of hearing all the cries, and I'm sick and tired of hearing all the pettiness, and I'm sick and tired of all of the begging and bullshit. America is the world's biggest parasite that just sucks the life juice out of everyone. The world needs to stand up to the real terrorists.

  • Watching that Iraqi Oil Minister sign that contract as millions of his own people were murdered for it makes me so mad. I don't understand what he was thinking. He probably uses drugs or was drunk when he signed that contract. Or they threatened his life, his family's life, or he's just a greedy corrupt politician, or a combination of all three.

I wonder what Al-Qaeda's response is going to be to that one.

Americans are dumb for not holding those companies responsible.

  • This is what is called democracy politics, sometimes they make decisions you do not like, but the solution is not death sentence, but voting for someone else.

  • you're an idiot

  • Democracy? The Iraqi people had zero say in this. Their so called Gov't is a puppet Gov't created in a Foriegn Military Occupation.

  • Well, unfortunately what can he do, he has been pressurised by all the big leaders and at the end of the end of the day he has to do what Georrgie says. That's pathetic and sad but that the truth

  • Well Saddams dead now so I don"t think the millions he killed would want there country to suffer, let them sign oil contracts,it's their country. They now have a 29 billion surplus, good for them.Don't believe the Democrat lies about 59 billion since 30 million has been put into action for reconstruction earlier this year.

  • And another tip to everyone else...

I wouldn't work, go near, or fill up at any Royal Dutch Shell gas station, or any other gas station who has affiliates with occidental oil companies (exxon, shell, etc) who have projects in Iraq.

If you've been using credit cards... :(

  • It's good to see Iraq cooperating with our companies again, I would use Shell more from now, even if it's more expensive than other gas stations.

  • Pass these messages to the Iraqi leaders.

  • And with regards to American oil companies seeking to make huge profits off the blood of millions of Iraqis...

Just say thanks, but no thanks.

  • With regards to occidental imperialism in the caliphate...

    Just say no.

If you need to make a profit, and there aren't any other available opportunitis...rent the land, but don't sell it.

That's what happened to the native americans. They were introduced to alcohol, they became alcoholic, and now they all live in concentration camps. The occidents took advantage of them.

  • That's a good point Nearonamous...

Leasing out property is better than selling it because you still own the land, while receiving income from both the appreciation and the rent.

  • Iraq was systematically stripped of its ancient cultural identity, its defense (military) dismantled, and its population forced into poverty and chaos. Now, with its government re-created in the image of the west, Iraq will be policed by the U.S., and sold off to big corporations.

  • i shore they could have done that with out shell or any one else , what is this news item an add for shell and wonderful glory of selling national security and resources into private wealth,, (olo shell)

  • shell is one of the worst corporate citizens , it is responsible for the death of untolled numbers ,"and", its no wonder ,there one of the most corrupt?

  • No, I think the leaders of the Iraqi government are tired and its affecting their sense of judgment. That or they're succumbing to the infamous death stare. You know, when someone talks in that deeply engaging and pressuring tone of voice with that angry forehead clench...

The next wave of anti-occidental imperialism will strike at the hearts of the corporations themselves. That means more violence in the Occidents, but if you're a non-affiliated regular Joe, I wouldn't worry about it.

  • Im suprised any oils left since bush nicked it all

  • Yohooo..... Bush administration,'s plan work out in iraq....Yeah...next Iran....! hahahahahha

  • yeh let em try mate...

  • the quran said, "only with swords we can win," the question now is? why would Muslim using Infidels gunnery?

  • The bit you quoted is a story I think. but does it say in the quran you can't use guns?

Mate don't get me started on religion ok?

  • To my knowledge most other countries oil firms are state owned and it would be viewed as unfair competition against "private" firms whose moniker's(British Petro.,Royal Dutch Shell etc.) happen too suggest they are state owned as well. It is apart of the vicious deception they has gripped the resources of the globe.

  • Most people missed the fact that this deal was signed by the Iraq government, which is basically just a puppet of the U.S. and is not trusted by most Iraqis, is it not a suprise that this deal was then signed?

Of course not, this entire war was fought over resources, why would they be interested in harvesting natural gas when the united states already has the largest reserves in the world?

  • And if the companies resort to threatening language, just kill off all members of that company, including the CEO's, even if they are headquartered in another country. All options must be taken into consideration when defending your country. Remember, those companies who are trying to exploit the military presence as a manipulative tool to bully nations into signing contracts are committing acts of terror. They too must be destroyed.

  • Also...

49 percent is way too much to be given to a rental company. Remember, Shell oil is offering to rent their drills and acquisition services, which you don't need. 10 percent is the maximum that they should receive for that type of service if you decide to acquire their services for a prolonged period. I would pay them a one time payment for their services, like 2 million dollars maximum. You wouldn't offer 50% of your lifetime salary to a car rental company for renting a car, would you?

  • All the Iraqis have to do is say no. Most Americans do not support that action, and neither do most people in general. The world supports your war for sovereignty. Just say no, and if they try to pressure you into signing a deal that you don't have to sign, and if they threaten to use military action against you if you reject their proposals, detain and prosecute all members of that corporation. The law is the law, and nobody is immune to it.

  • Oh my sensible brethren it would be so simple if only the commoners of Iraq (and the world for that matter) were making the decisions. The leadership who signed such a deal are co-opted, treasonous, cowards similar to the representatives in the USA Republic.

  • As an American, I agree. The truth of the matter is that the people of Iraq and the average American have much more in common than we know; we both have no real say in or governments. Our leaders decide to war and we die. Corporations in America choose our leaders for us with their campaign funding; Statistics show that in 90% of campaigns the candidate who spends the most money wins. Why do you think Bush won a second term? We have no republic, but a corporate empire.

  • Death to Islam

  • wow fuck you Grow up litte fag go have your litte Fit in Corner were nobody can hear or see You

  • death to u

  • I am surprised it took this long to happen. an unfair deal but at least the country will generate some much needed funds.

  • Boycott Shell! Now give me cheap gas again.

  • China pumps off the coasts of America. This is BIG money....It has NOTHING to do with nationalities.

Perhaps Iraq will get more money within it's base market which will allows for economic expansion in the domestic arena: better schools and hospitals, etc.

Grow up....America is not the "Great Satan" - Just as China is not the "Whore of this world". It's just Geo-political big business.

  • Perhaps the oil might actually be of some use, unlike during the Clinton administration's laughable "oil for food programme" which, in light of the sanctions, did nothing for Iraq.

  • I wonder how much money it took to grease (bribe) the Iraqi politicians to allow foreign firms to have control over natural resources? Or was it pressure from the American (occupiers)? I just hope these deals with firms can actually help the Iraqi people rather than a few privileged.

  • Probably the 700 billion dollars the US is in the red to

  • jerkinp, Iraqi politicians belong to Bush, Cheney & co. they are just puppets. Iraq is 51st state of USA. The neocons pump billions to iraq. They never let go. Main casualty: iraqi and american people.
